Buttersmooth ride and good mileage
Ag
Great commuter for cities and occasional highway indulgence. I was looking for a mileage bike and this one suits the purpose. About 65km per litre is roughly what i get. The ride is butter smooth and peppy for its class. Gear shifting is easy and don't feel the need for 5th gear. Looks wise its better than most bikes in its class. The blue colour is best as its helps highlight the bike against the dark roads especially in monsoon season when its gets dark due to black clouds. Braking is good, better than most bikes in its class. Comfort wise its good even for a 6ft guy like me although i am the only rider.

I am having a cold start problem from the date of purchase, in service center also not clear this issue. In all my service I intimated this problem to the service center. At the time they will do something. Then the issue will continue. This problem is my bike or all the bike has the same issue. The worst bike I had ever.

Have owned this bike more than 2 years, I will say that the riding experience for single person is superb. It feels like riding on the wind. I will not recommended people to ride it with triple load. Even 2 loads with heavy person feels a bit heavy. Fuel efficiency is very good. I don't have to worry about the fuel at all. the bike should have a bit more weight, 98 kg feels more like a bicycle than a motorbike. It's a good commuter vehicle. I have also reached at a speed of 120 kmph with 2 loads. Overall good experience but could have had a little thicker rear tire.

I have driven this bike upto 25000km. Bike is good for daily commute. Service is good but costly. Mileage is also good. The problem is unavailability of spares. Hold 100% clutch while changing gears. If spare available all the time it could be best bike. And there is a chock near engine it doesn't clear that which way is choke is on or off.

Mini mileage and stylish beast...Yamaha rx saluto

I bought yamaha rx saluto from bangalore and the delivery was very quick along with all documentation. This bike is super for people who prefer mileage bike and very light weight vehicle. It gives up to 80 kmph and on road 73 kmph. Looks very stylish and similar to old yamaha rx looks And more over maintenance is less and i usually do servicing 3 months once.Pros - comfortable seating system, good engine performance, no vibration in vehicle. Cons - rear braking system but still manageable.

I just searching for a low budget and trendy look in 2016 and i am impressed with this bike, i was about to take hero hf deluxe/ saluto rx i took chance and own this bike. It was great feeling when riding this bike very less sound , good pickup, stylish look and easy handling. I took this bike 3 years ago(2016 model) for the first two years i received i got mileage b/w 60 to 70 now it easily crossing 70+. I am using motul 20-40 oil for every 2500kms i am getting very good performance with this oil. Pros: great mileage, stylish look, easy handling.Cons: getting accessories is very difficult even in the show rooms also not available. Conclusion: if you want to have a bike for longer years not for resale you can go for this bike blindly.

Great combination mileage and ride quality. Good for city rides . Yamaha reliability is well known . Indian s are now learning this aspect. As many go for honda and hero bajaj .. Yamaha you get reliable and fool proof engine + ride handling quality that you won't get in Indian brands. Many the reviews mentioned here talks about back pain. This can be overcome by changing the shock absorber . It will work wonders . I tried it in my yamaha ybx . It is amazing the shocks come with yamaha is not designed for maximum rider comfort. I m planning to buy this rx for city rides. As for long rides i have ybx as it won't happen again from yamaha . Great going.

Mini mileage and stylish beast...Yamaha rx saluto
4 years ago
Mohammed Ibrahim
I bought yamaha rx saluto from bangalore and the delivery was very quick along with all documentation. This bike is super for people who prefer mileage bike and very light weight vehicle. It gives up to 80 kmph and on road 73 kmph. Looks very stylish and similar to old yamaha rx looks And more over maintenance is less and i usually do servicing 3 months once.Pros - comfortable seating system, good engine performance, no vibration in vehicle. Cons - rear braking system but still manageable.

Salute to saluto rx

Great for common man and students

Change oil at 2000kms, air filter cleaning/changing spark plug cleaning every week Engine oil check daily Tyre pressure Shock absorber checks for any leaks Chain lubrication Use unadulterated fuel try to buy from a reputed petrol bunks . Do not makes changes like changing silencer changing to yezdi tyre it is will decrease mileage.
