This bike is not for you.

1. I bought it from perfect riders, which is an authorized Yamaha dealer. Their staff is good, but once you get your bike, they don't respond to you properly. So my buying experience is not good.2. The riding experience is good only for short rides; if you want to do a long road trip and the daily commute, this is not the right bike for you. The pillion seat is not at all comfortable. If you ride this bike for a long time, you'll end up with lower back and wrist pain. This bike is for performance, not to ride comfortably. On December 31, 2022, I went on a one-day trip with my sister on my brand-new yamaha r15 v4. In one day, I covered almost 290 to 300 kilometers. After coming back to my house, my lower back started to hurt, and my sister felt uncomfortable because of the seat height and because there was no handlebar to hold on to for support. And this is not a suitable bike to commute every day or for long highway runs.3. The best performance bike in the 155cc segment looks like the Yamaha r7.4. Compare to r15 v3, v4 service cost is a bit high even the spare parts price as well 5. Pros: best performance bike in the 155cc segment.Cons: the price is high for 155cc segmentCommitted riding position. The seat is not at all comfortable for the pillion.Service cost & spare cost is a bit high compared to r15 v3 & mt15.Not suitable for a road trips.

This bike has a good look and has a good mileage of almost 60 kmpl so u can ride freely. The stunning look of this bike attracts others toward you. Compared to the V3, the rider seat of the V4 feels more like the V2, and it is easier to handle in crowded cities. Compared to r15 v3, there is better comfort in r15 v4. It appears to be a powerful bike. Traction control on the R15 v4 gives you the benefit of effortless bike control in twisting situations, making it the best option.

Hi there, today I am here to tell you all my detailed experience of owning a R15 V4 1 : The buying experience of this bike was decent enough i got the bike delivered within a week after booking the showroom staff was polite and co-operative 2 : When it comes to riding pleasure no other brand can match Yamaha you will definitely feel it when you will ride it the amount of refinement I am getting from this 155cc vva equipped engine is absolutely phenomenal you can cruise in 35-40 in 6th gear without any knocking from the gearbox the response of the throttle in the mid and high range is just wow i mean you will not believe that it's a 155cc motor after 7400 rpm when the vva kicks in before tha vva i will say that this bike will feel a bit underpowered with a pillion but if you are one who enjoys to ride solo you will definitely love it3 : Talking about the looks it is the main highlight of the bike i have the dark knight variant and Yamaha has nailed it in the terms of design it resembles the mighty R7 and the eyeballs on the road it gets is outstanding in every traffic signal you will find someone asking about the mileage of the bike i am getting 40-45 kmpl in city and 45-50 in highways which is an icing over the cake considering the power of this bike the performance of this engine this bike wants to be in the higher rpms i have touched 153 kmph on an open expressway with heavy windblast if you ride with pillion very occasionally than you will feel the initial lag otherwise if you are like me who loves to ride solo would definitely love it the posture the rearset footpegs adds to adrenaline and will urge you to clock triple digit speed now let's talk about the most important thing which is pricing when this bike was launched the black colour was available at the price of 1.98 lakh on road lucknow and M variant was at 2.10 lakh but the situation is completely changed now every variant has got an hike of 15 thousand within a year of it's launch the fully lcd instrument cluster is yet filled with a ton of information and the rpm lights on the top add to it's futuristic design traction control is not such needed in a 155cc bike but it is a good safety feature which can save you sometimes the quickshifter is not available in dark knight variant but you can get it installed as an accessory for 6k as i did the quickshifter works buttery smooth once you cross 4000 rpm you can take the feel of it4 : I purchased this bike 7 months ago and have ridden 9500 km till now and my 4th and last free service is remaining which will take place in 10000 km the service cost is pocket friendly not really expensive considering the segment the charges of the free services will range from 800-1200 depending on the parts you are getting changed and the oil you are using i am personally using the rsgp4 yamaha factory racing oil which is made in japan and oil itself costs around 1200 bucks but it is worth if you are going for the black colour it will require a lot of maintenance the dust gets attracted easily so it requires a lot of regular washing and cleaning with microfiber cloth it is advisable to get a ppf lamination as soon you take that bike from the showroom it will protect the paint of the bike and will prevent major and minor scratches too5. So the pros areSuper eye catchy lookPowerful 155cc vva engineGives good mileageTopnotch refinement Now talking about the consSlightly overpriced The build quality of the grabrails needs to be improved That's it hope you all liked my review I wrote what I experienced till now thank you for reading and giving your valuable time :)

The Yamaha R15 v4 is a thrilling sport bike that offers an exhilarating riding performance. Its impressive 155cc engine provides impressive pickup and throttle response. The mileage is decent, Averaging 40-45 km/l.Service costs are reasonable compared to other bikes in the segment. The R15 boasts solid build quality and the road presence is fantastic. Certainly an eye candy, Especially the metallic red color.

I bought this bike 4months back, initially, it was a little uncomfortable as I had switched from a naked bike to a fully faired bike. Later on, I was quite comfortable as I ride it for 45km on a daily run, so far the bike has done nearly ridden 5800km and I'm getting a constant mileage of 45-46kmpl so far. Abs works quite well but still misses out on giving the confidence of braking at higher speed. It lacks a few features such as switching the abs off, TCS needs to turn off every to on the bike. Overall a great bike with amazing features at this price point.

Apart from being a touch expensive(In Karnataka 2.45L) this bike is a catch. Extraordinary milage easily 50+kmpl, be it speed, style, riding dynamics all tick marks for this stunner named R15v4(Racing Blue). Comfort is the only thing you might have to compromise with but I don't see it as a negative it is a sporty bike & honestly, I use this bike for everything & I've had no problems whatsoever.

It was good to ride. But leaning angle more you won't feel comfortable doing long touring. The plastic of the bike is good.I felt that r15 v2 is most good looking than v4.Top speed is the matter that I choose this bike.It has a top speed of near 150.Pillion doesn't feel comfortable riding long distances it feels back pain.
