I have bought fz 2.0 149cc on may 2016 and have driven 17k kms. Waste of money read fully what i have gone thru.... I have bought because it has fuel injector instead of spark plug.....
Riding is nice but not so good its very lengthy handle make difficult for riding very long & importantly not so smooth as pulsar when come to slow riding.
Looks good in masculine structure but in only looks when comes to performance it sucks it can be beaten by gixer, pulsar, vikrant, apache in long drag race in shorter race fz beats all of em.. Battery weakens after 18 month from purchase. Efficiency lower than other brands in same cc range
Service and maintenance this is the worst part i hate about.... Service exec are trained to say to customer that chain sprocket will worn out after 12k km from first service itself and it went out at 14k km.... My bike haven't met with a accident but front fork oil seal right side is leaking then i fought with service exec change it with warranty but within three months it also started leaking due to no pressure in fork suspension due to leak... Steering cup set bearing got damaged then i changed it in service center paying 900 rs for fork seal and 1300 for cup set.. Plus 10% labor and 28% tax ...... And after three weeks left side started leaking i got fed up.... These service center are charging us more for unworthy cheap spares say it is imported... Now they are saying front fork bend.... Shit product
Very less pros
1. Stylish
2. Strong engine
3. Electronic drive control
Cons
1. Cheap front section totally
2. Worst service center very worst
3. Low life battery
4. Long handle rod
5. Cheap seals
6. Service center in chennai charge for oil even if they didn't change it.... Very very worst....

Worst bike to ride

Well it's my worst experience with this bike. Starter stopped working twice within 6 months that after replacing it as brand new from yamaha. Just think how difficult and how embarrassing it is that in middle of huge traffic it stopped working and u don't have any alternatives. Also yamaha service centres are so bad. They always cheat you on your face.

As i first time bought bike ....I've go to yamaha .....Buying experience it was ok....Sometimes i feel ..In this price i would get better bike than this ! We r talking to ride experience... Than ride experience is very good , as the handling of bike is very nice ...Cornering is also good Looks - i feels look is nice , muscular , sporty and aggressive Graphics is amazing ....Performance - not satisfactory about performance ...As the acceleration of bike is not as good as rider expecting n it also takes time to reach 0 to 100/km speed ! yamaha would put more power n torque better than this ....But engine's refinement and smoothness is good ! You will not need to spend more money on maintenance of the bike as quality of yamaha as its best ! So i'm telling u some pros n cons Pros - sporty look , breaking system , most imp its handling which is very good n its very helps u in cornering ! , instrument console which give details about every thing ( exceptions about gear indicator ) , n last is mileage - this bike gives me mileage of 45 in city n 50+ in highways Cons - not more cons or disadvantage i feel in this bike but engine's performance , performance is not as we r expecting in this price ( 1 lakh ) , acceleration ( pickup ) is not good as comparing to other bikes in 150cc segments....Yamaha would able to increase engine's power n torque in next version n my opinion is , yamaha have to notice or look at the performance power of this bike's engine , in short performance is medium , not as better as we are expecting in this price !

When i went to yamaha showroom, the salesman was not that much knowledgeable.I inspected every model at around 1 lakh price and buy this bike. But after 3 months they haven't cleared the bike no from rto. It's still pending. The bike riding is very much comfortable. There is no bad noise from engine and it is quite smooth riding.Looks is stunning..The edges are sharp and appearance is elegant. The pick up of the bike is awesome and dual disc brakes are just wow.Within 3-4 secs you can decrease the speed very efficiently. Mileage is around 40 km/litre in city ride and around 42-43km/litre in highway.Servicing was done correctly and in time.Only con is its mileage but if you can adjust that there is no that much of cons. For you pros are all other from riding experience to braking to speed up.. Everything is very smooth.

I've owned this machine for about a year and its performance is amazing . I fount it better than apache rtr and other of this 150cc segment . The looks are good and there are no vibrations , mileage is 40 to 45kmpl . Yamaha have really built a good machine its best in everything, its comfortable its handling is good and very less cons like : its top speed is around 115kmph and its not that powerful like apache rtr . But overall i loved it.

Best mileage best riding experience in 150 class

John Heathalin
1. I hated the buying experience they took more than 10 days to deliver the bike and for the accessories the took more than 1 and half month in sairam motors, padi 2. It was cool to ride a yamaha fzs fi the bike is smooth the gear shifting was good An average riding performance of this class. The rear number plate loosens often. The pick up was good not the best 3. The looks were great but i hate the tail lamp. 4. Maintenance doesn't cost you much i have went for two services it costed under rs. 700 other than no specific maintenance needed the service is good 5. Pros: the bike has great looks. It's needs less maintenance. Has superior tyre grip it give you confidence while riding. The mileage is good you can get 45 kmpl easily if you ride the bike smooth and keep the tyre pressure 29 psi front and 33 psi at the back for better mileage.Cons: the cornering capabilities aren't upto the mark. In long rides the pillion gets butt ache sooner. Overall it's a fantastic bike to own in the 150 class. I am very happy owning fzs fi.

Yamaha fz.S 2.0 2 years pros and cons

I bought my bike in 2016. At first the bike came to sell. I was impressed by the looks of this bike over the first version. It feels premium and very good naked street bike still now. Great bike among 150-160 cc bikes.I have been riding this bike for 2 and a half year i have faced quite a lot problems but its ok, it never cost me so much.If you are planning to pick a 150-160 cc bikes ,i will say the pros and cons of this bike.Pros#* good looking naked street bike. * one of the best refined engines. Goes like a baby in 80-90 km/h. * good cornering abilities. * good compared to tvs apache 160 and pulsar 150. * gear box is good , feels great between 2 to 5 gears. * great fuel tank capacity. * best handling in traffic conditions. * great bike for touring and daily day commute. Cons#. * tyres will easily get worse. * chain sprocket must be changed after 6k km. * braking is bad , never stops suddenly , front tires skids while braking.* body parts are plastic it will break down easily in one fall. *. Chain sound and the gear clunking sound. *. Instrument cluster is not feeling good it may stops working sometimes misbehave.* fuel efficiency is moderate. That's all guys. If you are planing to buy a 150 or 160 cc bike ( pick apache 160 4v 2018, hornet 160, gixxer.) choice is your. I may recommend apache 160 4v best gear box and good refined engine not like old one.Or you are a great fan of fz naked bikes go for it.Thanks all....

5 years ago

High cost cheap material yamaha bike
