5000-15000 km

Got mileage of

40 kmpl

One of the best daily use bikes for the city ride in 150 cc range bikes as well as in similar budget bikes........... Fzs v4 is designed in such a way as to attract youngsters as well as family rides.... It gives great control and a stunning look... Crash guard seems to be very light quality... Could have been better if it was a heavy-duty one..

Tips for Yamaha FZS FI V4

Change oil for every 3000 kms... Do apply chain lube every 500 kms or every week... Do check for the air pressure in tyre every week...

    Uncrowned Lord of the Street
Where smoothness meets strength — My Yamaha FZ V4 Cyber Green Story
I purchased my Yamaha FZ V4 (Cyber Green) in July 2024, and from the very first day, I’ve proudly called it the Uncrowned Lord of the Street. While the buying experience itself was smooth, many people questioned my choice — “Why buy this underpowered bike?” they asked. “Why not go for something like the Hero Xtreme 160 4V, Apache RTR 160 4V, or the Bajaj N160?” But here's the truth — not once have I felt my bike underpowered, whether in the city or cruising on the highway.
In real-world riding, most 150cc-160cc bikes don’t feel stress-free above 100 km/h — not just the FZ, but any in this segment. Yes, they can cross 100, but the smoothness and refined feel begin to drop. That’s why my cruising sweet spot is around 90-95 km/h, where the FZ V4 feels calm, stable, and responsive. If your priorities are refinement, smooth performance, mileage, reliability, and bold street presence, then the Yamaha FZ V4 makes perfect sense.
It’s not just a motorcycle — it's a solid companion with a muscular, beefy design that turns heads wherever I go. However, I do have a few disappointments. The fit and finish, especially of the grab rail, isn’t up to the mark — the paint has started fading. Not all parts feel premium, though the overall design still impresses.
What bothered me more was the after-sales service. The mechanics at my service center didn’t even know how to adjust the rear suspension setting. When I asked, they simply denied assistance and told me to go to an aftermarket shop, which was disappointing and unprofessional.
Despite these issues, the Yamaha FZ V4 still wins my heart every single day. It's more than just specs — it's about the complete riding experience. And in that, it truly is the Uncrowned Lord of the Street.

It rides pretty well but the body panels made of fiberglass aren't as securely fitted as you'd expect from a bike that costs almost 2L onroad the lower end the seat of mine got loosen up in just a week and the fasteners have literally dropped out while riding and the dealership ain't ready to rectify this mistake even even tho i agreed to pay for the fastners and just demanded the part itself
I'd add the videos too but they ain't supported sadly

The bike is good on road. Safe to drive. Service is slightly costlier and parts changes at a regular interval is a little costly.
Pickup is good while upto 10,000 then it gets slower, so the service centre recommended changing clutch plates and it is much earlier than other bikes I have purchased and it causes a little more cost.

  • Best bike in the segment for mileage & smoothness

    Pushkar Rautela

I purchased this bike at the start of 2025. Previously, I was riding a Splendor Plus i3s bike. So I am obsessed with high mileage, but I am facing vibration issues in my Splendor, so I am looking for a good bike with 50+ mileage with a smooth engine. Then I booked a test ride for multiple bikes, but when I rode this bike, I loved it. Before taking a test ride, I was thinking this bike might be very heavy for me, but I was wrong. This bike is very simple and easy to maneuver. Now I have completed 5500 km.
I am happy to have Yamaha.

The best 150 cc bike for city rides mileage is between 45 to 50 km, handling, and sitting position are great and suspension is also, but there is no gear indicator. build quality needs improvement but the engine is super refined by Yamaha.
this is too light in this segment and it cost me around 1.6 lakhs.

    Harish

Best bike I've ever seen, Best mileage, Best look, Best performance. Everything is best in this bike, the Colour is best
Look is best, no comparison with this bike, I got 56 miles in the city. On highways, it takes 60. The best design of my life that I chose was the YAMAHA FZ.
    Best choice
    I love YAMAHA

    Vicky

I took 1st free service in Yamaha NEW showroom, B L D E ROAD, I'm not feeling good about the bike after servicing here coz I think it may mechanic/showroom problem...! Dont know but when i bought a new bike, it was performed well. After the first free service, I am feeling very bad about the service. I found some differences.

  • Pretty good bike but the build quality ain't good

    Yashraj Sharma
