I never thought I could buy this bike. First, I see the bajaj pulsar 125 and I took the bike for that showroom delay in registration so I cancel the bike after I go for hero passion xtec I'm not satisfied with that bike already have one 100cc bike so I want to upgrade to above 100cc and I just see fz and I love at the first sight and it looks very bulky and black color is look very beautiful it's like some feeling of me will I'm childhood I see fz bike on road I'll be impressed with the wider tyre and it's look. The riding experience was good for daily use and I'll never feel pain in my back but I'll ride the bike I feel like something special gonna happen to day and the bike makes me happy every time I'll ride I forgot my sadness and worry.

It was an amazing feeling. When I ride this bike same like a horse riding a smooth way. Biking is not just a passion, it is a lifestyle. No other joy on the planet can compare to the joy of hitting the long winding highways on the bike. Such happiness can’t be put in words, however, we’ve tried to capture its essence in these quotes so here are some of the best biker quotes and sayings that any biker or motorcyclist can live by.

Yamaha FZ FI V3 First Review
Arvind
Date Purchased : Aug, 2023Price Paid : ₹1,27,550 (Includes registration, insurance, LT road tax and accessories - engine guard, indicator buzzer, handle grips, seat cover, number plate protector, TEFLON coating)Purchased at : Vinayak Yamaha, Old Airport Road, Domlur, BengaluruColor : Metallic BlackPrimary Use : Office Commute (City) and weekend chore tripsBikes Considered: FZ FI and N160 (I particularly was not interested in Bluetooth connectivity - which is offered as an accessory for ₹3,000 - and other advanced features such as ride modes, traction control, VVA, adjustable levers etc.) The extra premium on the FZS model also felt unworthy. Reason for selecting FZ: It was primarily the price - the N160 was an easy 50K (on road) more than the FZ. I didn't feel that it was worth the premium i.e. the dual channel ABS and (truly amazing) projector light were the only features that I felt were worthy of conclusively tilting the scale (and that non-functional but absolute blissful gruff exhaust note if it matters) but not for an extra 50K. The factors that eventually tilted the scale in favor of FZ (for me) included that unmatched epic 140 section rear radial tire (which makes handling and cornering an absolute breeze) and the fatter front fork (41 mm vs 37mm) that truly makes a difference - not to forget that the FZ is an incredible 19 kg lighter than the N160 (135 vs 154 kg). Buying Experience: Relatively smooth (though there was scope for improvement given there was a bit of haggling over the exchange price at the time of payment which was not discussed at the time of booking) given I had to exchange my old bike as part of the deal. The bike was ready for delivery within a week of booking (I received the number plate a week after delivery). First Opinion (Between Delivery and First Service): I will not comment much on the looks as they are purely subjective. But my personal opinion was that the FZ is a decent looker and will eventually grow on you (though the N160 definitely looks better easily). My immediate thoughts were about how hard and clunky the gearbox felt in the initial weeks. I particularly seemed to find the false neutral (between 2nd and 5th gears) far too often for my liking (which I have to admit gradually reduced as I approached the first service date but has not disappeared or ceased to occur). I did report this to the service advisor who checked it out but advised that we check it again after the first service. I did find some feedback from some users that a few drops of engine oil on the four points of friction on the gear shifter do help smoothen the gearshifts, but the service advisor advised against it. The clutch also felt heavy (compared to my previous bike). Another distinct drawback (especially when graduating from a 100cc bike to a 150cc bike) is the (much) bigger turning radius. Fortunately, it's not that often you need to make a U-turn on a road otherwise it would have been a nightmare. Otherwise, I loved the performance of the bike - torque available in the lower RPMs is truly appreciable and useful in slicing through traffic. The handling and cornering are absolutely confidence-inspiring. Braking was also ample with both front and rear brakes tuned (differently) for great feedback, bite, and progression. The instrument cluster was decent, but I definitely felt the need for a gear position indicator (which is absent even on the latest FZS V4 model's upgraded instrument cluster from the MT15) and maybe average fuel efficiency. The headlight isn't great but does the job (at least in the city's dimly lit roads; yet to gauge it on pitch dark roads or the highways). I was content with the halogen indicators, but Yamaha does offer LED flashers as accessories albeit at a premium of ₹3,000. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the bike's characteristics. Yet to get my first service done but this is my initial review based on my first two weeks of riding the FZ FI. Hope this helps others in their decision making.

Damn good bike

Rahul
The buying experience was very good, the whole team was super interactive and did very well in the case of delivery time and accesories. The riding experience is good, knowing it is a 150cc bike it has enough power to go through the city at a great pace. I have noticed that after some time maybe around an hour of driving, I do have some amount of back pain. The exhaust sounds very well-balanced too.The performance of this bike is mediocre I shall say but for a beginner, it's really capable. The looks are exciting but I liked the 2015 version of it. The bike is muscular and pretty sporty but I do feel that the fuel tank is a bit oversized which is deceiving. The mileage is about 50kmpl on average and about 45-48 in citiesindeed a very exciting mileage to it.The service and reliability that you get by buying a Yamaha is the main reason a person should go with this bike. Incredible servicing.

Most economic 150 cc bike which checks all the requirements for city ride
13 weeks ago
Rishabh Tiwari
I am riding this bike for a month, although it's a 150 CC bike but to be honest it's very underpowered after 50 kmph mark, but that makes it one of the best mileage bike in the 150 cc range. I use it just for office commute hence the power/pickup after 50kmph mark is not an issue especially in Bengaluru. The body is not that good, lot of fibre parts in the fuel tank which makes it look cheap but good they have discontinued lot of colors and black hides the fibre. The rear brake is pretty weak too. But, as I said if it's for office commute or riding in city this is probably the cheapest bike in 150 cc range especially if you are buying in high tax bracket state like Karnataka.

Good bike for daily commute

Bike is okay to ride daily for 60-70 kms. On full tank with power petrol I am getting mileage of 600 kms for 10.5 litres. Average of 58-60 kms/l. Rear brakes would have ABS, but that is missing. I am riding bike in eco mode on 50-60 km/h speed. So it gives this mileage. But if you do rash drive, bike will give very less mileage.

This bike comes with lots of problems:1. The lid of the fuel tank is not proper2. The gearbox is very rough3. You'll not get the feel of riding a Yamaha4. Rear breaks are hydraulic and the performance is very poor5. Breaking and controlling is not that aptOverall agreed with the price point at which this bike comes, but trust me to spend 10-20k more, but don't buy this bike. One more thing, lots of fiber work on the body but the quality is very poor, the locks are very weak.I would suggest going for tvs bajaj or hero by paying 10-20k more you'll get a reliable bike.

I took it to a showroom that was near to me so I got it until bird on the same day, when it comes to the riding experience it gives you the best riding experience the sitting poster is just perfect for a comfortable ride. When it comes to looks it's somewhat good but it's not that great if you are looking for a good-looking bike you can look at others but when it comes to performance it gives the best performance if your shifting from100 cc to 150 ccs and you will feel it and the one thing to be noted. I like the mileage it gives in the city as well as on the highway gives the best mileage in this section of bikes. Very comes for servicing it is not required a lot of servicing as well as the maintenance it's okay to get a regular as mentioned in the guide, its pros are performance, mileage, comfortability, and road grip. And cons are looks, the angle of handle rotation, little heavyweight.

I love this bike because of it's affordable price and Yamaha company. It's mileage and performance is very good according to the price. Pros : Engine smoothness, Good mileage, Good looking, Gives competition to other bikes of same price segment.Cons : short seat Height, somewhat uncomfortable for long height people.

Good bike for daily commute
Vignesh
