Looks very good. The problem in speedometer is it should be round in shape. It look very decent also. Its simple from the back too. First service completed. the bike works more smoothly. Bike is very comfortable for long rides. Major problem in looks is the speedo meter, head light, tail light, seat not like scrambler.
Overall all most comfort able nice in mileage, easy ride for city also highway no problem, power and torque is enough for riding no issue.

    (i)Buying experience:-
Not bad. But in the beginning showroom guys had declined to give it for a drive. Then we left but next day we asked him differently again. Then he gave that for a ride.
    (ii)Riding experience:-
It is truly comfortable ride. I can ride 400 to 500 kms easily on it.
    (iii)details about looks, performance etc:-
It looks like a small bike, but it is truly tall bike, I needed a tall bike. Because i am 6.3 height. It looks like a bull, so i call it my bull, it has new looks from front. But not from back. It is just copied from backs of honda bikes.
1)it has a heating issue. It heats when i raise it to 60 kmph/h in two kms of distance. and i can feel it through my legs.
2)the malfunction light is always on. When i told this to service center. They say that it's ok, no problem in it.
(iv)servicing and maintenance:- i think it has five services. I don't remember correctly.
(v)pros and cons:- i can't talk on it right now. Because i am understanding the bike. If i remember i will edit this in the future.

  • If Comfort, Mileage and Retro look are your requirement GO FOR IT !

    Sid

    PROS:
    1) Comfort and leisurely rides with a relaxed, riding position never felt any discomfort (my height 5-11).
    2) Mileage: Overall 50 (Got 50+ in eco mode). - In City: 48 (Non Eco mode)
    3) Good looks definitely a head-turner.
    4) Mobile app - Easy tracking of your mileage, Location oil change, etc.
    CONS:
    1) If u have a heavy pillion it kinda lacks power (if a Normal pillion it is good)
    2) The gear shift was not smooth initially (After 2nd service it was fixed)
    3) Highway: Long rides: - Lacks power after 80+Kmph can feel it kinda struggling (Top speed - 115)
(You are NOT going to ride 80+ or 70 + in the city for more than 1km so don't bother about other reviews who cry for that.)

  • MY FIRST OWNED BIKE: FZX 150

    Hadees Siddique

I pre-booked this in 2021, amazed with its look-lite weight machine with a 150cc engine at an affordable price was a sleek move for me but that move is totally worth it.
I have driven more than 11K kms and still feel this bike can give more power and long rides one of my longest rides on this bike was 70 to 80Kms, its braking system is great, while the grip bike's tires give on the road is phenomenal, in this two years my bike never slipped never left its grip and I think that's what makes it great. 10 liters tank every day I make a commute of almost 20 to 22kms, and I fill up the full tank and that easily goes for a whole month. Its speed, comfort, and control are commendable. I had 3-4 accidents but this bike has saved me every time it's leg guard and well builds body. Whenever or where ever I go with this bike, FZX is an attention seeker even after 2 years still people stop me and ask me about the bike they get so impressed with the looks and color combination( I have the orange and black in Matte) no doubt it's definitely a piece of art.
Talking about service and maintenance it varies from rider to rider (if you ride it like a bike it will be very cost-effective), I only did normal servicing, and it's affordable and cost-effective. I have kept my bike in a great condition that nobody can tell it's a 2-year-old bike. So it usually depends on how you use it.
    Pros;-
    -Mileage
    -Fuel efficient
    -Comfort
    -Braking system
    -Build Quality
    -Cost-effective
    -Exhaust Note
    -Easy to handle
there aren't many cons, but there are some points I would like to add
    Cons;-
-Bluetooth connectivity (It drained my battery whenever I kept my idle for 3-4 days)
-After each 80 Km/h speed because of its lite weight bike does vibrates and it feels it's taking too much power
    Overall;-
If you're looking for a bike that is affordable, retro, cafe racer with a 150cc engine, cost-effective, and fuel-efficient you can get this bike.

I wanted to buy re meteor, but couldn't afford the waiting period. Riding comfort was my primary concern. I saw yamaha fz-x for the first time at a showroom when it was first launched.
Every time I stop at a traffic signal, people ask about its price and overall performance. Trust me everybody take a moment and notice it's design especially the led headlamp.
As the production is low thus the number of fz-x is low on street. So get this bike a get noticed among the traffic and crowd.
    Pros
    Riding posture
    Riding comfort
Mileage 60 km/l (for daily commute at average speed 50-65 km/h).... You can check mileage through yamaha connect app
    Headlight (looks like transformer movie)
    Smooth suspension
    All metal body
    Fantastic colour (mine's blue)
    Many scope for modifications
    Unique design
    Cons
    Top speed doesn't exceed 95 km/h
    Engine bit underpowered.

    Dr. Kumar Anant Sagar

I think this bike is the best of its rivals. It is very different from its photo on net, when you see it live it will look different, Means very nice on DRL. I think no other bike is better that it in terms of comfort,. The cushion quality is above 5 Star. When you will ride it in the city then every person will see it. There are many reviews on its Power, but its power is greater that every bike. The Pick-Up is excellent. The app connectivity is also accurate. I couldn't find any disadvantage in this bike. You can surely go for it.

This is a perfect mid range cruiser bike with daily commute support and a good turning radius that is missing in the other bike of this range that is avenger
If comfort + cruise + mid budget is goal then this is the best in this segment.
I've drove constant 68km without any back pain which anyone will face in other 150cc range bikes like gixxer, mt, pulsar or apache..

I must say, it's delightful to hear that your buying journey was hassle-free, and the delivery within 15 days of purchase certainly adds to the convenience.
Your dedication to using the bike for your daily commute to the office is commendable. While it's understandable that you've noted some limitations in terms of top-end performance, it's great that you've highlighted the practical aspect of the bike's utility for daily commuting.
The aesthetics of the bike seem to have left a lasting impression on you, and it's understandable given the emphasis on looks and style in today's market. It's unfortunate that Yamaha hasn't launched the XSR in India yet, but perhaps there will be developments in the future.
In terms of its positives, the mileage, looks, and comfort stand out as key advantages, enhancing the overall experience of ownership. However, it's important to address the areas that could be improved, such as performance, console, and switch gear quality, to ensure a more satisfying riding experience for enthusiasts like yourself.
    Pros - Millage, looks, comfort
Cons- Performance, Console, and switch gear quality.

The buying experience was okayish, but since I have shifted from a decade-old hero honda glamour, I fell in love with the comfort, stability, and mileage. It is commendable, how this bike acts and reacts in no time while revving at high or low rvms.
If you want to ride a bike, irrespective of the way it looks and on-paper specs, you will be satisfied with it.

  • No other bike in its category

    Tanmay

I wanted to buy re meteor, but couldn't afford the waiting period. Riding comfort was my primary concern. I saw yamaha fz-x for the first time at a showroom when it was first launched.
Every time I stop at a traffic signal, people ask about its price and overall performance. Trust me everybody take a moment and notice it's design especially the led headlamp.
As the production is low thus the number of fz-x is low on street. So get this bike a get noticed among the traffic and crowd.
    Pros
    Riding posture
    Riding comfort
Mileage 60 km/l (for daily commute at average speed 50-65 km/h).... You can check mileage through yamaha connect app
    Headlight (looks like transformer movie)
    Smooth suspension
    All metal body
    Fantastic colour (mine's blue)
    Many scope for modifications
    Unique design
    Cons
    Top speed doesn't exceed 95 km/h
    Engine bit underpowered.
    No led indicators

The buying experience was okayish, but since I have shifted from a decade-old hero honda glamour, I fell in love with the comfort, stability, and mileage. It is commendable, how this bike acts and reacts in no time while revving at high or low rvms.
If you want to ride a bike, irrespective of the way it looks and on-paper specs, you will be satisfied with it.

Try using Motul 300V/liqui moly street engine oil with waxpol oil treatment. You will get the best possible performance and mileage out of it.

I wanted to buy re meteor, but couldn't afford the waiting period. Riding comfort was my primary concern. I saw yamaha fz-x for the first time at a showroom when it was first launched.
Every time I stop at a traffic signal, people ask about its price and overall performance. Trust me everybody take a moment and notice it's design especially the led headlamp.
As the production is low thus the number of fz-x is low on street. So get this bike a get noticed among the traffic and crowd.
    Pros
    Riding posture
    Riding comfort
Mileage 60 km/l (for daily commute at average speed 50-65 km/h).... You can check mileage through yamaha connect app
    Headlight (looks like transformer movie)
    Smooth suspension
    All metal body
    Fantastic colour (mine's blue)
    Many scope for modifications
    Unique design
    Cons
    Top speed doesn't exceed 95 km/h
    Engine bit underpowered.
    No led indicators
