The FZ V3 is the model that revived Yamaha’s fortunes in India, and since its launch it has been the gold standard for the 150cc sporty commuter, as far as the sales figures are concerned. It offered a number of new technologies like radial tyres and a centralised fuel tank at the time of its launch. It is also one of the pioneers of fuel injection, having made the entire FZ range FI at a time when its competitors were still depending heavily on carburetted variants.
Yamaha Motor India has updated its FZ FI model for 2021. The updated version of the roadster, similar to its premium version, the FZS FI, is two kilograms lighter than the 2020 model, and it tips the weighing scale at 135kg as against 137kg. However, unlike the S variant, the FZ FI misses the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Bluetooth technology that offers access to functions such as answer back, e-lock, locate my bike, hazard, etc.
The FZ FI will be sold in two colour options – racing blue and metallic black. The feature list continues to include a single-channel ABS, an LED headlight, a 140mm wide rear radial tyre, and a two-level single-piece saddle. The safety net has been enhanced with the addition of a side-stand engine cutoff function on the 2021 model.
Mechanical specifications continue to comprise a BS6-compliant 149 cc, fuel-injected, engine that produces 12.2bhp and 13.6Nm. The hardware includes telescopic forks at the front, preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, and disc brakes on both wheels.
The FZS FI competes against the likes of the Honda X-Blade, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Suzuki Gixxer, and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.

The buying experience was very nice. The bike looks amazing and muscular and it is very comfortable for riding on highways and in the city. Servicing and maintenance are a little expensive but the people doing the service are very polite and they listen to you. Pros: affordable bike, good mileage, good looks and power of the bikeCons: The body material is made mostly of plastic. Shock absorbers could have been better for the bike

I buy this bike last Feb 2023 with EMI with a 30k RS down payment with HDFC bank. If talk about riding it a very comfortable for the long run average is also good around 40-50 km per liter. About looking it looks decent in this price range performance is also good. I get 5 free services from the company Pros - I like about Yamaha it is very stable while riding also breaking system is good for this price rangeCons - Nothing much but yes Yamaha can give more colors on FZ

FZ, the city bike

Smooth to ride. Getting a mileage of 55+kmpl. However, service costs at the Bangalore service center are on the higher side just because Yamaha does not do scrutiny on the dealers. Misses out on connected tech and dual-channel ABS. For city use and random highway rides, do not think and go for it. At the end of the day, I am also hoping the bike stays true to Japanese reliability genes.

REVIEW OF YAMAHA FZ FIThe Yamaha FZ FI is a beautiful and comfortable motorcycle with a smooth and consistent performance. It is one of the most popular 150cc bikes due to its appealing design, fuel efficiency, and ease of operation. The bike sports a single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces 12.4 PS and 13.6 Nm of torque. The bike also has a dual-disc braking system. It offers a comfortable riding position, a broad and well-cushioned seat, and a good suspension system. Overall, the Yamaha FZ FI is a wonderful choice for individuals seeking a stylish, comfortable, and fuel-efficient 150cc motorcycle. However, if you want a bike that is more powerful, sporty, and durable, you should search elsewhere.

Tips for other riders
Some essential suggestions for riding the Yamaha FZ FI are: - Before the first servicing, ride for at least 500 kilometers at speeds below 6,000 rpm. This will allow the engine to run smoothly and prevent any harm. - Lubricate the chain at least once a month. This helps to prevent corrosion and improves the bike's performance. - Check your tire pressure on a regular basis and keep it within the prescribed range. This will result in improved grip, handling, and mileage for the bike. - Follow the service schedule and only use genuine Yamaha parts. This will extend the life of the bike and prevent warranty concerns. - Wear suitable safety equipment and obey traffic rules.

Best bike for sports lover

First of all the buying experience is very good. Purchased it from Yamaha showroom. The behaviour of the showroom guys was fantastic. I have owned this bike for the last 2 years and my riding experience is so smooth. You can feel completely balanced in your hand. I use this bike basically for daily office rides. But also sometimes we go for long rides out of the city. And definitely, this bike is also great for long rides.Look is very very lovely. One of the first things I like about this bike is its look. Very sporty minimal look. Performance of first grade. I had never had any issues in terms of Performance. Service and maintenance are not too high.Only according to the manual we just go to the service centre to change the oil and routine oil checkup.

The Yamaha FZ-Fi is a popular choice among motorcycle enthusiasts for its blend of performance, style, and comfort. With its fuel-injected engine, it delivers smooth power delivery and good fuel efficiency. The design is sporty yet practical, with comfortable ergonomics for both city commutes and highway rides. The handling is agile, making it fun to ride through traffic or twisty roads. However, some riders may find the suspension a bit firm for long rides on rough roads. Overall, the Yamaha FZ-Fi offers a compelling package for riders looking for a versatile and enjoyable motorcycle.
