Reviews of Yamaha FZ V 2.0

Yamaha fz version 2.0 was my first bike , i have grown up watching the yamaha bikes starting from rx-100 to r15 -v2 which have great sports looks & awesome torque , i needed a bike especially for travelling to my college which was 40 km away from my place so keeping these thing's in mind my basic requirements in a bike were mileage & sporty looks which could give me a ride of pleasure , this fz version 2.0 had fit perfectly to my requirements .I have ridden this macho bike on-road as well as off-road ,i used to commute nearly 80 km daily on this bike & its been more than 2 years with over 25,000 km ride but still this bike is my first love

no bike is perfect so lets look at pros and cons :

*pro's)

1) stunning looks - instantly attracts commuters & public

2) great mileage of 50 km in city & 60+ km in highways - it is wallet friendly bike

3) good braking system - gives good control over shabby roads

4) blazing torque - instant pickup in off-road conditions

5) fuel injection system - doesn't need attention in engine & is maintenance free , just need to change oil every 4,000 km

6) comfortable wide pillion seat

* cons

1) build quality could have been better as it is made fully plastic fiber body

2) as it is fuel injected system engine we need to drive at a speeds according to gears or else engine will automatically turn off .

Recommended speeds according to gear's are - [ 1st gear : 0-20 mph speed. 2nd gear : 20- 35 mph, 3rd gear : 35- 45 mph. 4th gear : 45- 55 mph, 5th gear : 55+ mph ]

3) headlight vision could have been made much better & bulb is still halogen type .

4)rider seat is little on harder side .

Hey guys! i have purchased the new yamaha fz v2.0 on this 6th march and believe me this bike is amazing if you are going to purchase an 150 cc bike. Its have new blue core engine with new injection technology which make it different from others 150 cc bikes apart from this it's split seat gives it more comfort ability. As per my opinion there are disadvantages of this bikes are no kick available and it's self start have problem sometime to start which can create a big trouble when you are in traffic or in hurry and second thing is no rear disc brake available and no abs are there in bike while other bikes with same 150 cc category have abs and disc also.So over all it's a very good bike in terms of engine and comfort ability but need to more upgrade on this.

Mileage is good when you driving normal.. More stylish.. No need to spend lot of money for maintenance..... Value for money.... Change oil before reach 3500kms... Otherwise abnormal sound came while driving... Nice to ride in all platforms.. But if you are driving long.. you will get back pain..Its only drawback.

30000 km distance completed. After 1.5 year of single hand use suspension springs got changed, got oil leakage from engine. Getting sitting issues because of tank. Chain maintenance issues. Chain pack got changed after 20k km. Tick-tick sound is continuous from engine very loud. Fixing which is going to take 4k rs. The engine part which rotates chain needs to be replaced and would take around 4k rs. . I didn't escaped any service to the bike. Every service of this bike is taking more than 3000. After spending big money on servicing (around 35k in 30000km use) the parts are getting damaged so sooner. However average is good.

Suspension are so soft that small potholes and humps aren't even felt. Engine is refined and has an average punch, but the appreciable point her is it's throttle response, it reaches around 40 to 45 kmph in 1st gear in a very short span.Ts look is awesome, comfortable for riding..If you want to buy yamaha fzs v 2.0 please go ahead... Its really good bike. If you want to get good average then follow below method. 1. Shift gear 1st gear for 0-10, 2nd gear speed upto 10-20, 3rd gear speed 20-30, 4th gear speed 30-40 & 5th gear speed 40- 115 ride this bike on eco mode.

Very easy to buy this bike ,very min amount of documents were needed and very good service provided by the company .Riding experience was also superb and i love this bike.Bike looks gorgeous and stylish mostly i prefer black color because it make the bike more beautiful and the horn of the bike was also perfect i'm totally satisfied by this purchase and the service provided by the company is super even they call before the service time to service our vehicle to maintain the bike .

Buying experience: its all started since 2017 Jan. I wanted to buy an average budget bike around 1lakh . I have visited various showrooms not only yamaha also honda, suzuki, bajaj and took test rides. For me it was tough decision to choose between pulsar, hornet, gixer and fzs2.0. Then i started observing on roads people riding various bikes, took suggestion from some of my friends, compared reviews on websites. This is how concluded fzs2.0 is best suited for me.Riding experience: bike's engine noise is very smooth, it makes you feel riding very much smooth. I enjoy my riding time than my office time. I'm using it since 7 months not even single problem i faced.Looks and performance: one of the best looking bike in 150cc segment. If you see performance of my bike, it is giving 52km/ltrs. Reason may be my handling is very much smooth, i take care of it like a kid, on time service, i did lot of studies on how to handle bikes. Service and maintenance: not missing any services nothing more than this. Not any problem in 7 months. Pros: mileage is very good, styling is also awesome, light weight, various colour options, Cons: no gear indication and watch in speedometer.

Very nice commuter bike. It was very smooth.When you ride this bike it feels relax. It is low maintenance bike because of fuel injection system. No harassment of cold start.Service cost is nominal. This bike ride minimum 5 ft rider because it is lightweight.Overall best bike for daily commuter and occasional tourer.
