Reviews of Yamaha FZ S FI

I bought bike in bangalore at rs1,18,000. I ride this bike for almost 5000km. Bike performance is seamlessly well. It's mono suspension makes your ride tieredless. Bike is provided with abs and disc both work really well. Hats off to it's robust body design. Especially the two bums on either side of fuel tank gives aggressive look to the bike. Led display and headlamp is really cool.I achieved an average of 50km per litter in long ride but inside the city i could able hardly achieve 46 per litter. If you ride in economy mode i'm sure u can achieve more mileage.It's matte finish colour fades off (don't park in shiny area).

2) Power is low compare to other 150CC brand
3) Fuel tank lid not good. when opening it came in your hand.

Buying experience was really good, getting a mileage of around 55 ( don't revv the engine unnecessarily), but I am facing a issue with headlight ( fog collected inside the headlights chamber). even after several visits to service center with proofs ( photo and video) they didn't care about my issue. Service is really a pathetic. (mine is just 3 months old vehicle).

I have purchased fzs-fi bs-4, after 4years of my relation with my bike. I can tell you some pros and negatives.
Pros..
1.Excellent mileage as it is giving 52-55 kmpl
2.Stability is superb
3.Performance is good too
4.Best for street rides and a family bike too
Cons..
1.Maintenance cost..
Digital speedometer should be improved

Good commuter Riding is very good, Look and performance is awesome, Mileage is 45kpml any were,Good torque use full for overtake feeling in highways. Demerits: back mud gad is the problem in rainy season mud water flow on back pillion seat body parts like tank cowls and side cowls are not much quality.

it is not a bike it is monster because i have ride approx 2 months bike is running in very smooth condition ...i have much options for bye a bike with 200 cc engine in this price but its looks and performance and features like

mileage
seating comfortable
and finally it's beast look...
Its have less maintenance other bike like apache 160 4v at all.
its exhaust node is very impressive it is different than version 2.

I have crossed successfully 90k on my fzs v2.0, what a engine, they have nailed it in terms of performance. Though the top speed is limited to 120, during my first 4 services it used to be 109 the maintenance and servicing is really great and affordable, no problems from the engine side. But got rattling sound at beginning of 10k kms. The suspension is on stiffer side on the rear. Front fork seems to be problem from the first gen, i have replaced them 7 times. Still facing the same issue. Mileage was fabullastic! i'm getting average of 45 kmpl in city even on rough throttle. The rear wheel tends to lock up and it's not scary. Though it is a non abs variety the breaks are poor and lacks confidence. The stock tires from mrf doesn't justify the chassis. Need better grippier tires. The fuel gauge doesn't work properly all the time, in rainy season it is a whole different situation. It runs like 'disco'.Negatives aside, the bike still looks stunning every time i take it for spin or office. Don't worry about the engine. It's a yamaha. Trusted for reliability, but make sure that the upshifts are done at 3-4k rpm for first 6k kms so that engine does understand your driving better and it improves good greasing for the oil seal around the piston and great engine life.I have made a separate cushion for both rider and pillion seats as they are pretty hard. Now it might be perfect, if they have added 6th gear, better fork seals, softer suspension on rear, metzeller or pirelli tyres could have done good job.

I purchase Fzs v3 with Bluetooth feature. It makes problem within 1 week. The dealer is not support to resolve the issue and non responsive. Riding of this bike is good. I suggest not to buy this bike with Bluetooth feature. Without Bluetooth is good bike to drive in Delhi. Good looking and pickup is very good.

Riding is amazing...only issue i faced is air leaking from rear tyre. Air pressure drops by 15 points in a week. Visited service centre today and was surprised to know there were many such complaints and two bikes along with me had same issue.Service manager ordered a new alloy which will be delivered in a week.let's see what happens after that..... otherwise the bike is good.
