Perfect commuter motorcycle

2 weeks ago by Varshit421 views

Yamaha has amazing customer service, the associate was very friendly and whole process of getting the bike was very smooth. Received the bike on the same day i made the payment.Bike is decently refined works extremely well in city traffic, very easy to handle. Just a little drawback is that this motor generates less power as compared to the other in segment but excellent mileage compensates for it.With decent riding i'm getting about 50-55kmpl on average which is like a blessing.Bike looks absolute gorgeous definitely feels like you're sitting on a 250cc machine. Headlights are pretty disappointing could've installed a better led. Braking is pretty good and does the job very smoothly. In my 1 year of experience with this bike i haven't had a single issue with the bike i guess yamaha has done what they are known for. Servicing is pretty good costs just a little north of 600 rs.Pros:1. Very premium looking motorcycle2. Punchy engine with excellent average3. Seat is very very comfortable for both.4. Engine is very refined and can smoothly cruise around 80 kmph5. Really good tyres. Cons:Engine lacks power top speed around 118Headlights are not that great

I rode my friend's fzs for 6 months. I like this bike and want to upgrade my current bike to the fzs but the tank panel issues make me irritate. I have changed tank panel within 6 months. It is not acceptable from a brand like yamaha. Please do something to remove this problem. When i think about this issue than my mind got changed to go for another option in the market.

Cons. .Tank problem due to poor fiber quality and fitting and its a major problem. . Vibration to handle after 60km/hr and above .No abs to rear wheels .If there was it could be better. .All fiber body to reduce weight Pros. .Excellent handling .Good brakes .Comfort .Good mileage . Refined engine Power is good for city ride comparing to it engine configuration. Performance is not up to the mark but it is ok for a beginner and also for anyone to ride a comfortable simple ride. If your preference is power then go for another bike it is all about handling and comfort. And always remember about the tank. Small pressure to tank can broke the clip and detach side from the tank. It can cost you almost 2k. For me I changed it 2 time and again it broken now I just ignored it. Otherwise best in this segment.

Negatives: Disappointed with the parts which was used in it, with in 8000km changed spark plug and front disc pad. With in four to six months rear tyre got punctured. Mono suspension not well functioning on single riding. Positives:Good looking, stylish design, love to ride for a long trip, no back or wrist pain on 50km and above. After 12000km, am getting 51km/litter. Low engine sound for a peaceful riding.

I brought this bike last year and driven over 15000km. Its a good bike for a beginner. Easy to ride in all conditions. Got over 50km on normal long rides and 40 above on city rides. Its good to ride upto 80 km/hr then starts to vibrate little from the back brake pedal then comes to the handle. The main problem with the bike is its body. A small pressure to the tank will break the tank clip because its all fiber made. Otherwise all is well. The engine is superb :)

I have bought this 4 days ago. This has killer looks. I have to travel 40 km daily for office. This is perfect commuter cum tourer. I have driven 350 km in 3 days only. This has the best control in its segment. Front ABS is quite impressive though the rear one is not that great. But it is very responsive bike and easily maneuverable in any kind of traffic. Though it has less power compared to others in this segment but one can not really feel this. Overtaking and speeding is very smooth. Pros 1. Control 10/10- What a control man... Best in its segment. 2. Mileage-10/10- Around 50 kmpl. Quite impressive. 3. Visual appearance- 8/10- Front looks is killer. Though the rear portion is somehow neglected in terms of looks. 4. Electricals-8/10- Front beam is good. But not that great. No led backlight and indicators. 5. Bluetooth -I don't know if company will provide this for existing BS6 model. But if they provide this this will be first in segment feature. 6. Comfort - 10/10- I have bought this only for control. Easily maneuverable in traffic. Rear Ceat Radial tyre will never let you down. Be in cornering, or be in city traffic, you will never feel out of confidence. Cons 1. Rear looks- This part is neglected in this bike 2. Seat- Could be a bit softer 3. Rear brakes- Kinda loose 4. Lights- Could be better I have excluded power from cons as it actually makes no difference for me as I usually do not drive more than in 110kmph. Final verdict I have upgraded from glamour bs 3. If you are an occasional tourer, daily commuter, do not want to drive in 120 kmph or above, want to attract attention while driving and most importantly want comfort in bike this is not only the best but also the only choice for you in this segment and price range. P.S. I wish yamaha to provide bluetooth device for this.

I have a yamaha fz s almost 3 years , coming performance it's good for traveling I traveled hyderabad to vijayawada monthly on this buddy coming to controlling it's good, I never saw other bikes like pulsar bikes and more importantly mileage, it gives good mileage, my bike gives 38 to 40 kms in city and 47 kms on highway at speed of 70 /kms. Finally coming to maintain cost it's fits in budget.

Being a owner and riding for 3months(2700km) I'm sharing my personal opinion: pros: 1)looks and style -naked and perfect in this segment2) mileage-40-45kmpl. ...This is my first bike that I bought with my own money previously I had apache first version everything that yamaha fzs fi offers the bike is good only in highway speed is not that good and the body of the bike like the tank it's a huge tank and the problem is its only with one screw in the whole panel and its fibre so what happens is when you drive in high speed and for instance if you need to use the break the pressure that is generated from the pillion rider the tank cannot handle and the tanky internal fibre breaks and the tank seems to be coming out that's the problem rest everything is awesome.
