Reviews of Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR

I have owned yamaha ray zr on 25th October 2017, but it seems like it has bundle of problems with it. Headlights doesn't splits after 10ft, so riding at nights you have to be very careful.No doubt ray zr looks best in its segment but it has mileage problem and front dashboard produces noise.It feels like i am riding an old scooter.. Even after 1st service i am getting only 30kmpl..

I have purchased yamaha ray zr two year before . After 5 month its disc pad got damaged ,i had to put it of my own . After thousand of complain at yamaha customer care and service centre also the mileage is within 35 to 37 kmph,which is much less compared to other scooter.And on every two month some thing will be damaged if you drive so cautiously also.I will not recommend to buy this scooter .Only look is good and pick up is good .Other than that it is complete fiber so it will be damaged easily.

I love it, compared with other scooters then i got it, superb, siting position, mileage,and and price are awesome..It is useful for men and women both . Now we use it for our family and noe this is also part of our family. My sister and younger brother love it too much.

All over it is best vehicle for us..

Ray zr is awesome scooter. I personally loved the design how it looks aggressive and the brakes.

Yamaha makes vehicles which you don't need to have much maintenance, you just have no need to look after it.

This scooter is everything you need.

Full of comfort feels great.

You just have to lookafter for the front body parts, it vibrates a lot (after accident).

They say scooty belongs to boys only never mind it is a quote.Comes in two variants disc non disc, scooty first showcased in auto expo 2016 ans launched thereafter only after the returns and complaints of old variant ray yamaha decided to change the whole variant but! thing is they offer power not features. Still it is the best in terms of pickup and pickup only if you consider other variants in this budget like maestro edge or activa this scooty had performed better you will feel the power which other segments do not offer has belt drive means your drive is smooth no matter it will not cross 80kmph before 3rd service after it it will touch 97kmph. Don't hesitate while choosing disc variant disc is small but is perfect for wheel size and the breaks will feel same after 10000km like new.

Major con

1.Plastic is cheap ,plastic locks instead of proper screws so if you will open it again & again you can face problem. Like i'm facing as indicators had become unlocked they keep on vibrating.

2.Fuel gauge, capacity of tank is 5 liter but it even with 1 liter it will show no fuel. Workers even say there is problem in all variants .

Pros

1.Rear indicators like bike so if you want to replace them with led indicators you can replace.

please don't buy this bike. it was proper wastage of money.it is complete plastic. it gives unusual sounds.while driving it feels bullock cart.my suggestion to all of you is don't buy this and launch an online compliant against this.i will never buy any product from yamaha now onward. The best scooty is Honda Activa 125.

My buying experience was good.Delivered committed date. When it come to mind to purchase a scooty i went through many online reviews many models for many companies..Among them i finalized. Aprilia, suzuki lets, mahindra flyte, yamaha ray zr.. Because of stylish variate from other scooties .. Based on mileage, style selected ray zr come to the riding it is very insensitive to roads use can ride with comfortable like a bike with a family ( space too). Pros :good looking, good pickup. Enough seat space . Come to d mileage is 45-48 kmpl within d city. Cons: no enough space for helmet under seat.

The yamaha shop sellers were extremely nice at their work. I am riding this bike for more than a year and till now i have not received any problem.The speed is nice and it has a catchy look. It feels really nice when you ride it with your friends. It's look and structure is nice and it has an excellent mileage . You will not regret after buying it.

This scooty is very good for riding but it has only one problem i.E mileage problem.It's mileage is only 40kmpl. I.E very weak for 113 cc scooty. For others 125 cc scooty given that mileage.
