The Vida VX2 is Hero’s upcoming entry-level electric scooter, set to be positioned below the existing Vida V2. It serves as the production version of the Vida Z concept that debuted at EICMA last year.
Design-wise, the VX2 mirrors the styling of the Vida Z and will be offered in four paint schemes, including a striking matte yellow finish. The scooter will come in multiple variants, differentiated by battery size options.
Built on a modular platform, the Vida VX2 can accommodate battery packs ranging from 2.2kWh to 4.4kWh. It will be powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), ensuring efficient performance.
While full specifications are yet to be disclosed, Hero has confirmed that the VX2 will feature removable battery packs, touchscreen TFT display, and all-LED lighting. Additional features are expected to include smartphone connectivity and advanced telematics.
The Hero Vida VX2 is scheduled for launch in India on 1 July, 2025. Upon release, it will compete with the lower variants of the Bajaj Chetak Electric and the TVS iQube.
E-bikes/scooters are the future of mobility. They are eco-friendly, mobile and revolutionary.
