The Vida V2 is the company’s new, affordable line of electric scooters. The V2 Pro is the top-spec scooter. But, powering the V2 Pro will be a pair of 1.97kWh batteries offering a 114km range. That is in the same ballpark as the competition. Even the scooter's top speed, at 90kmph, is at par with its rivals.

Perfect Electric Scooter for Daily City Commute
15 weeks ago
Jainam Doshi
I purchased the VIDA V2 after careful research, and my overall experience has been excellent. The buying experience was smooth, and the staff explained charging, features, and maintenance very well. In daily riding, the scooter feels very comfortable and stable, even on uneven city roads. Pickup is quick, acceleration is smooth, and it is ideal for traffic conditions. The design looks modern and premium, and the digital display is clear and easy to use. Battery performance is reliable and gives a good range for daily office and market use. Charging at home is convenient and cost-effective. Servicing experience has been hassle-free so far, with low maintenance compared to petrol scooters. Pros are silent ride, zero emissions, low running cost, and smooth performance. A small improvement can be made in charging speed, but overall, VIDA V2 is a smart and practical electric scooter for city riders. Highly recommended for daily commuting.

Extremely Disappointed with Vida V1 – 7 Repairs, No Response from Service Team
20 weeks ago
Ganesh Gaikwad
I am extremely disappointed with the performance and service support of my Vida V1. My scooter has gone for repair 7 times, yet the issue still remains unresolved. Despite repeated complaints, I have not received any proper response, neither on email nor on phone. The reliability of the scooter has become a major concern. I expected better quality and after-sales support from a brand like Hero MotoCorp, but the experience so far has been very frustrating.I hope Vida seriously looks into customer issues and improves their service quality. Until then, I cannot recommend this scooter to anyone looking for a reliable EV.

Poorly Engineered, Pathatic After Sales Service
27 weeks ago

Not everyone will be inclined to read a lengthy review, so here is a summary DO NOT BUY, DO NOT BUYPOORLY ENGINEERED PRODUCTHORRIBLE AFTER SALES SERVICEMOBILE APP IS A JOKEYOU HAVE BEEN WARNEDRead on and decide if you want to go through what I have described below.I have owned a Vida plus for over a year now. Let's get done with the pros since that's a short list - Smooth, Surprisingly good suspension, decent looks. Overall, Hero has dropped the ball in this one. Mine has been in the workshop for a total of 45+ days over time just for fixing glitches. The cruise control did not work and the mobile app did not connect on Day-1. The dealership did not have the 'machine' to debug so they couldn't help. Even after they received the device, they could not determine why the cruise control was not engaging. They eventually did after keeping my scooter for about 15 days and consulting another technician at a different dealership but only after I escalated with Hero. Next in line was the auxiliary battery. The scooter would work but display would be blank. Next day, the scooter refused to start. Called the RSA and had it delivered to the dealership. They simply recharged the auxiliary battery and gave it back. This happened 2 times within a month. When I questioned if they looked into why the battery keeps draining and if it needs replacement, I was pointed to a printout that had addresses of Battery dealers (20 kms away from me) and asked to contact them. Ideally, it's the dealership's job to coordinate battery replacement. Same issue happened within a couple of weeks. I think the vehicle was sold to me with a defective battery. Frustrated, I paid for a battery replacement and the vehicle was working OK for some time. Unfortunately, I lost the keyfob one day. Contacted the dealership and was quoted 3500. I agreed and went to the workshop only to be told that 'The software is being updated. We'll call you when done'. It's been a week and I haven't received that call yet. Now comes the Vida App.. Absolute piece of crap. It's supposed to work as a keyfob. Honestly, you have a better chance at winning a lottery than starting the vehicle using the App. I have literally spent 25 minutes just today to get the scooter to start using the app. I guess while the dealership is working on the 'Software Upgrade ', my scooter has become practically usable. Overall, a very poor ownership experience. I am going to sell my scooter once I get a new keyfob.

I purchased the Hero Vida V2 Plus with high expectations, but I’m not fully satisfied with the experience so far. The main issue I’m facing is with the on/off button, which doesn’t work properly. It often takes multiple tries to start or switch off the scooter, which is frustrating and inconvenient.
