Only good thing about this bike is it’s looks - The rest, such as after-sales services, high maintenance cost are pathetic and way below average. Lack of Service Centre in Mumbai as well. Very difficult to get its part locally and hence no choice but take it to the authorised showroom only. I would never recommend this to anyone.

The Vespa Premium models (like the Vespa GTS 300) are stylish, high-quality scooters that blend classic design with modern features. Their standout qualities include solid build quality (with a metal frame) and premium aesthetics that make them a symbol of elegance. These scooters offer a smooth ride, excellent handling, and comfortable seating, especially on longer rides. They’re equipped with advanced tech like digital displays, LED lights, and some models even offer smartphone connectivity. Plus, Vespas have good resale value due to their lasting appeal.
However, the price is a major downside, as they are more expensive than many other scooters offering similar performance. While the GTS 300 has decent power for city commuting, it’s not a speed demon and lacks the raw acceleration you might find in sportier motorcycles. The fuel efficiency is acceptable but not outstanding. Also, the under-seat storage is limited, which could be a concern if you need to carry a lot.
maintenance costs can be higher compared to other scooters, and the Vespa is more suited for urban commuting than long highway rides.

If you're considering the Vespa SXL 125, chances are you're drawn to that classic Italian design — and you’re not alone. It’s one of those scooters that makes people turn their heads. But looks aside
Here’s a breakdown based on owner experiences, road tests, and real-world performance.
Let’s be honest: this thing looks amazing. It has that signature Vespa charm — full-metal body, squared-off headlamp, bold color options, and loads of chrome. It feels like a premium product the moment you sit on it. If style is high on your list, the SXL 125 delivers in spades.

    • Fanciest Scooter in the market

Bought this scooter in Jan of 2021. Bought it as I wanted something flamboyant and guess what, it’s still hot in the market and a convo starter. The performance of this two-wheeler is great. A full metal body does not let you down.
Mileage is comparatively less compared to competitors. The seating is comfortable for two. I had a good experience with its service centers as servicing used to be done on time and also service was good.

Worst bike ever purchased. Had it for 4 years in the garage and hardly ridded bcoz every day this was the problem. Riding the bike with good posture and it's good for long rides. Looks are also retro and young but it doesn't have features like usb port or light under the seat. The service of this bike is at a high point. Pros: good body posture and good for long rides. Cons: no milage no proper service no proper customer service It is just a waste of money to buy. I highly recommend do not buy.

    • Average smooth riding with vespa sxl 125.

      About my experience:-
      1. Nowadays it is really easy to buy two-wheelers. I bought this bike from a showroom in Pitampura, where I had a good experience with the staff. They were very thoughtful and understanding about the whole purchase thing as it was my first experience of buying a vehicle.
      2. They gave me a manual about the bike and also demonstrated some of the features for me.
      3. Riding the bike has been a very smooth experience for me, it gives low mileage but it's fine for me, and also doesn't give sudden jerks on pressing the brakes.
      3. It is of grey in color with a smooth finish. Even after a year, the paint of the bike has not left its metal.
      4. It takes a lot of maintenance to maintain the color and looks of the bike. I have to go for its servicing twice a month.

It has a very good torque. It's spare parts are not easily available in the market so one has too do something about that.

My buying experience is good and within a few hours, I got the scooty. Riding experience was very good. It's very comfortable but the size was too small for a 6' person. Looks good but it's too small for a 6' person. Service was too bad the one store in my area was closed and I needed to ride 75-80 km for Servicing.

I had a Vespa in the '90s and thought the new generation Vespa would be of the same quality. However, ever since I bought this scooter in February 2023 this has been a nightmare. First, I figured out that the fuel tank had a small leak, so whenever I used to fill the tank with full petrol it used to leak from some space. They had to fix it. Then within the next two months, there was a problem with the fuel meter, it did not show the fuel quantity accurately. they have partially fixed it. Now in December 2023 last week there was an issue that the scooter would not move as if it was in gear. Some i got it running but since it's making a lot of noise. seems something wrong with the engine. I am taking it to the service center again tomorrow. Heavily disappointed with such a big name. I will even advise my enemy not to buy it. then there is a problem of ground clearance also. even a small speed breaker touches the body of the vehicle if two people are riding. The only good thing is the looks.

Gives good mileage although not as much as an Activa. But it's better than Activa due to its metal covering rather than a plastic one of active because of which it looks to be in good shape even after using it for a long duration of time. Been using it for some time. Has a good look to it as well. Amazing for college-going students. Would definitely recommend it.

    • Think twice before purchasing - choice is yours

      Ravi

Only good thing about this bike is it’s looks - The rest, such as after-sales services, high maintenance cost are pathetic and way below average. Lack of Service Centre in Mumbai as well. Very difficult to get its part locally and hence no choice but take it to the authorised showroom only. I would never recommend this to anyone.
