Reviews of Vespa LX 125

Unnecessarily high power, too much vibrations, mileage is pathetic it's less than 20 kmpl. Too expensive. This is my 3rd bike but very wrong decision. Feels like cheated. They are claiming mileage of 55 at least i expected 40-42 but no. Rs 500 k petrol may 100 kms only which like car. I have stopped using instead i prefer car.

Me & my friend had a real bad experience with vespa on 28th oct 2018 night whilst returning back home. My vehicle's back wheel tyre just went flat while i was riding & applying break didn't help. Since it was a gravel road, we fell off the bike dragging ourselves to a certain distance. Both me & my friend were left with bruises & pain all over the body. Later the next morning when i took the bike to a puncture shop did i learn that there weren't any holes on the tyre that might've lead to the puncture. When the tyre was opened to see what might've caused the flat tyre, it came as a shocker to see a bent metallic key which was found inside the tyre. This bent key was inside the tyre ever since i had bought the bike early this year. Just 6 months that i have bought this bike & this key has been there ever since then. I was been given a manufacturing defective vehicle. This key had busted the rubber tube which was inside the tyre. On 30th noon when i had taken my bike to avanish piaggio - vespa & aprilia dealer in bangalore, the service guy just threw the bent key which i showed. He said that it's not vespa's fault & blamed it on mrf tyre. I was shocked & worried about the entire incident at that point of time. They charged me 2,950.00/- to replace the head light & to fix the paint & side rim of the bike. But there are still few things which hasn't been fixed yet.The whole point in me reaching the vespa customer care is that when a customer spends his hard earned money in buying something expensive which is out of his reach & buy's the best in the market, it would definitely be after looking at the reviews & the feedback given by other customers. It's also due to the brand, quality & safety. When such an incident occurs how could anyone rely on vespa? whom do you expect me to blame? am i supposed to blame myself for having chosen vespa blindly by its brand? why the hell don't you guy's check the quality of the vehicle? i bought the bike from vespa not from mrf to blame it on them. I bought a bike assuming that vespa would stand assurance of the spare parts included in it that includes the tyres as well. How stupid of vespa it is to do the blame game on the tyre manufacturer. Don't you check the quality of your spare parts? I would've lost my life had this incident occurred on a highway or had it happened on a road with traffic. I would never advise any person to go for vespa henceforth, as an experience of this kind is something that i had never heard from customers who have bikes from other companies. Shame on vespa!! my reviews had been good till this experience of mine but hereafter i would highly recommend customers to get their life insurance done before choosing vespa bikes!

Girl's bike, boy's bike, blah blah..!!

We have been listening to things like the above when people stereotype which gender to use which vehicle especially limiting mopeds to girls. I am a man and am proud of using a vespa for couple of years now. Vespa just like the wasp makes all the good noise a gear bike would do and is an equal match in terms of its speed and performance and as an icing on top of a cake we get a good mileage too (being a typical Indian :p)

The showroom folks are very helpful with specs of the bike to choose my dream ride and the drive/ride quality of vespa is 'vespastic'. It is a head turner in look and hides a good engine under the body to go vroom vroom...!!

There was a braking issue with the past models but with the disc brakes in recent models it's no longer a con.

I love my ride and hope you do love yours, but this my story. My vespa story.

My father recently bought this vehicle from avaran associates irinjalakuda, thrissur, kerala. They provided us a vespa lx scooter with dust, rust, scratches, markings. It was terrible experience to us. The showroom itself say that their ware house is very bad and this all happening while transportation.

The customer care service of vespa was also pathetic. They are working together and cheating customers.

Riding experience:

It was very smooth. The performance was perfect. We don't feel that we are going at high speed when we are at 40-60 kmph.

It looks like an premium and people will watch you while you riding the vehicle.

I never contact with vespa service center for servicing because their service is very bad. It is better to service the vehicle in a local workshop.

Pros:

1)premium vehicle

2)classic look and metal body.

3)best ever performance in scooters.

4)everyone will watch your vehicle while at road.

Cons:

1)bad showroom service

2)bad customer care service

3)low mileage(35 kmpl)

4)bad after sales service

The vehicle is a premium one and services are terrible. Think before buying the scooter

Vespa lx 125 is amazing.Its just an awesome motorcycle .Its price is high but their performance and engine is awesome that why it worth it.If u ride below 60 or 50 speed then it gives 45 mileage per litre. Mileage depends on how you drive and servicing also.Amazing look of vespa. Activa don't looks amazing like vespa but its just an awesome thing .I prefer to buy vespa

They are offering 45 km/l,but actually getting less than 25 /l,it has too much power and vibration that we does not need us for our road conditions.I can't afford this mileage which is getting,so i will prefer a car instead of purchasing a vespa scooter,or go for access or jupiter for better mileage and comfort.

Vespa has made an excellent re-entry with gorgeous looking Italian designed vespa lx 125. The scooter comes with smooth yet powerful 125cc 3 valves, 4-stroke air cooled engine which is capable of producing 10.06 bhp at 7500 rpm.Absolute for daily users.Gives good mileage. Stylish by look and quality on its painting and paint.Its a good scooter

I have been riding vespa past few years , service cost is literally high compared to other bikes , we can't find any spare parts outside . Pathetic service centers , can't give customer satisfaction even after paying high service price , my suggestion is to never go for such brands which doesn't care about customer satisfaction .. I am facing lot of problems after buying one since starting ..... Never go for it is my suggestion.
