The Italian scooter manufacturer unveiled three new special edition families at the 2018 Amerivespa Rally, Virginia, USA.

Piaggio has unveiled a new special edition scooter called the Vespa Sei Giorni. This model pays homage to the original ‘Six Days’ Vespa Sport scooter which won nine gold medals at the International Six Days of Varese endurance race, back in 1951.

Piaggio is planning to launch the Vespa GTS 300 in India in the first quarter of 2017. While the initial lot of scooters will be CBUs, the company is working towards making it a locally-assembled SKD model. 

The Vespa GTS 300 has been launched in the Indonesian market at IDR 165 million (Rs 8.37 lakh). Powered by a 278cc engine, the GTS 300 is currently the most powerful Vespa, and is expected to go on sale in India before the end of this year.
