Buying experience was fine.
Riding experience is just awesome..Superb aerodynamics..Very stable and smooth bike...Throttle response is also very good..No overheating issues due to liquid cooled engine..Brakes are awesome...Technology is just fantastic and parts are the best parts since its a japanese made bike..I need not say anything about looks..Everybody knows that...Best bike in 150 cc segment...Just keep the baby in proper servicing and maintenance...Change engine oil as specified..Braking system and tyre pressure should also be checked regularly...Only problem is that its not comfortable for the pillion rider..And please guys if your height is less than 5.9 Fits..Think twice to buy it, because you will feel a little back pain..U can solve the above problem by lowering the t fork height...And one last thing in any problem happens in the bike just go to the authorized service centre..No local mechanics..Because they are not trained professionals...One more thing before delivery check the tyre threads..Engine tik tik sound(since its a four stroke engine)..All the body paints and electrical circuits..Radiator fins and most importantly the oddo reading,,if it is between (2-5) kms then buy it..Otherwise don't buy because in that case its must be a test ride bike, not a new bike..
So guys am the proud owner of the revolutionary r15..If u think my review is helpful..Go and buy r15...U will feel like a motogp rider..But guys always use proper kits while riding..Shoes gloves helmet etc. Because ur safety is the most important thing.
Tips for Yamaha YZF R15 [2011-2018]
1. Regularly check tyre pressure, braking system, and drive chain...Because due to industrial pollution in cities the drive chain gets rusty..So keep it clean by motul c1 chain cleaner and c2 chain lube to keep it fine( 14 days period)..
2. While braking .Use clutch and then use brake for less oil consumption..
3. Try to use rear disc brake always..In emergency situation..In emergency case use front and rear both.
4.Follow the service schedule and while buying ask ur each and evry doubt to the servicemen in the dealer shop..Get a test ride if possible
5. Always remember " speed thrills but kills"..So ride safely following traffic rules and with riding gears.
