About Renegade Duty Ace
The Renegade series of motorcycles was conceived by UM to compete with the other touring/cruiser motorcycles in the price range. The ‘Duty’ series is the more affordable series. At its heart lies a 223cc oil-cooled single cylinder engine that generates 16.8bhp and 17Nm. It opts for a five-speed gearbox. Suspension comprises of 41mm front forks and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Fork-mounted LED lights are also present on the Duty series, similar to the ones found on the Renegade Sport S. The instrument cluster follows a minimalistic design, with the odometer bring a digital component. ABS isn’t available at this point of time but the company says that it will be made available at some point.
The Renegade Duty Ace is the urban of the Duty twins, the low-slung handlebar and chrome-finished bar-end mirrors lending it a very city-cruiser-ish look. It will compete with the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and Suzuki Intruder.
