Style stylish looks.

Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox everything is good. Scooty pep plus comes with 90 cc and 4 stroke engine. I am using a scooty pep plus for the past about 9 years & 12800 kms.

Scooty pep plus pros.

1. Maintenance free (service interval for scooty pep plus every 2000km or 12 months)

2. Good pick up.

3. Good luggage space.

4. Light weight -weight: 95 kg

acceleration 0-60kmph 6.40 Seconds, mileage (kmpl) city-59.60,Highway-77.00 , Manufacturer claim 65.60

Ride quality & handling is very good

final words overall it is the best scooter at the price and better than its competeiters.

Areas of improvement alloy wheels are not offered.

Pros

stylish looks;comfort is excelent;good pickup;value for money,maintenance free.

I bought this scooty before 11 years ago....It is a very good scooty, it is low maintenance scooty...The pickup of the scooty is very good....The braking system of this scooty is very good...It is very comfortable scooty...Anyone can ride on this scooty cause of the light weight of the scooty...I suggest to all of who are reading my review on this scooty must try one time in life...

"the tvs scooty pep+" a little scooter. I had been owner of this scooter for about 3-4 years. I purchased pep+ in 2011 at the price of rs 40000/. And ride it for around 15000 kms, after that i sold it in 2015.

So if you are going to buy this scooter then read my review:-

I am categories this review in different parts.

1. Look- if you look at this scooter then first thing comes in your mind is small & very cute. Which actually right. Look wise it was very cute. Not a stylish.

2. Features & specifications- feature wise it was okay type in this price range. I had gotten a mobile charger, front bucket, side stand alarm,10 inch rear and front wheels, a good under the seat storage.

3. Performance- for performance i can say it was good enough for a <90cc scooter. Top speed was upto 70 kmph. Pick up was also very good in this scooter. Improved in new version 2017

4. Mileage- it was the best part of this scooter. Mileage was better than my maestro edge and even activa 125 bs 4.I sure it had given around 60 kmpl.

5. Comfortable- if i talk about comfort ability , it was good for city & shorter rides. Not comfortable for a long rides.Suspension was okay type(2017 model has improved with telescopic which is very good).

Okay lets talk about pros & cons:-

Pros-

1. Mileage

2. Pickup

3. Headlight was very impressive even in a highway

4. Nice design

Cons-

1. Only for female

2. Very unstable on sandy path(because of skiny tyres)

3. Not very comfortable for long rides.

4. Sometimes it got slow down if i rode this scooter in top speed for a long time

My opinion- buy or not???

As i already reviewed this scooter but it was older version. New version has changed and improved.

It is best for female. Very good mileage, okay features, in your budget, light weight.So you can think about it.

I was the second owner of this bike but it was pretty well maintained and had completed 300 km.

Because of its compact body it proves to be a very efficient while splitibg lanes upto 35kmph.

Looks are really not disappoint at this price range plus the low weight also proves to be a plus point for skinny people and performance wise it might lack a bit as the engine starts to vibrate after 60 kmph. Where as acceleration is pretty good. It is purely a city bike for the crowded streets and daily commute.

Tvs service centers have made sure they give hassle free maintenance.

I bought the latest scooty pep plus in the month of august 2022. Prakruthi mobikes authorized dealer Bangalore, from day 1 the issue started, took more than 3 hrs to deliver fed up waiting for delivery, which killed my enthusiasm for the new bike. I didn't get the proper accessories that I ordered with full payment, till date I have not got accessories, the first accessories that they fixed were odd-sized. The fitting was not proper so left the bike for 1 week almost for fixing it. Every time they said not got accessories and no stock of that model. Until a few kilometers approximately 250km it was ok to ride, but after that started troubling. Engine oil leakage, very hard to drive, accelerator slows down, the accelerator stuck in traffic suddenly, the vehicle will off automatically, kept the vehicle for service for around a week every time, handle alignment not proper, even after 3 services issue is not been rectified by service engineers, very worst service & also they charged me for an oil change, carburetor, spark plug, consumables, polishing, etc every time even though it's still in free service period. Hardly 3900km ride, I have not even crossed 3000 km on road but on the test drive, it has crossed more than 800 kms . Dream bike for girls/women gives a very bad experience and makes us feel never buy tvs products in the future such a worst vehicle I have ever seen.

The worst bike ever, with no mileage and no quality at all, keeps on getting repaired and I need to spend money, not reliable at all. The worst experience keeps on getting punctured, not quality tires, and breaks are worst, always not working breaks, it's very risky to buy this scooter pep. Don't think about purchasing this bike.

My 1st scooter,very happy especially since i have back ache,so light weight,easy to park n navigate. Truly enjoy riding .Very convenient since i use to take my son around.Best part is engine is powerful yet mileage is decent @45+ in any rough road,traffic jam.Used other scooter, now i am back to scooty.

I'm using this bike since 2021. It doesn't go beyond 3km and stops. And after some time it starts. The service was amazing. For the first time, I'm experiencing their service as they are charging money without rectifying the problem.
Worst bike. The performance is very bad. Money waste. I am disappointed.

Pep plus bs6 is a waste of money.. I hardly ride it for 2000 kms in one year... The chip inside needs a flashing every 2 months else the bike gives you trouble when riding... Stops when it feels like it and gives you jerks due to inconsistent slow of petrol, thanks to a cheap injection fuel technology employed but tvs... We want everything cheap in life so we don't pay attention to quality, this mentality has made us worse than the Chinese. Anyway always give importance to quality, then even the producers will heed your requirements.
