Good but could have been better

The buying experience was hassle-free as the vehicle was readily available. Delivery was completed within 4 days of booking. Engine sound and pick up are good for a scooter. Motorcycle riders will enjoy the gear-free experience. The ride quality is alright and mileage is fair as expected from a 125cc. While most of my commute is a daily ride to work, there are also occasional highway rides and the vehicle performance was fair overall with an average of about 40kmpl.There is trip monitoring option with a ride to empty once the fuel levels run low. Bluetooth connectivity is fair and there is turn-by-turn navigation which is displayed on the lower half of the screen. The problem is that you need to constantly keep looking at the screen to use it. Also the Bluetooth connectivity lags at times and you may end up missing a turn or a diversion occasionally. The colors are attractive and the vehicle stands out in the crowd because of it. But the overall build quality could have been better. The keyhole topper came off within the first week. The logo on the front has an s from the tvs missing. Not sure when or where it fell off. The braking quality needs to be improved as the disc is almost useless when riding with a pillion. Also, the combo brakes do not perform that well and the vehicle tends to skid on hard braking. Experienced a couple of falls within a month of owning the vehicle. The service experience was fair as expected from a vehicle of this category. Service cost is also reasonable.Overall the ownership experience is fair but there are several areas where there is quite some room for improvement.

The service interval is weird.. first service 2 months or 500km like all other bikes.. the second service in 4 months or 2000kms.. which seems too early.

Ntorq race edition - irritating vibrations
1 year ago
Rohan Puthran
1. Good buying experience, tvs dealership was very helpful and responsive. 2. Until the first service did not notice much vibration while riding but post that can feel a vibration in the footboard even while idling. My ride to work is 33 kms and after 30 mins the vibration on the handlebars causes numbness in my wrist. I am comparing the vibration on ntorq to an activa. 3. Looks good, performance is excellent no issues. 4. Service experience excellent. 5. Pros: performance, looksCons: vibrations, the suspension is a bit stiff.

Just fancy design but no quality

The bike is good in looks, power, and all features that's all. But in my case, I own race xp model which is just 3 months old having seroius problem and the worst part these service guys of tvs they are unable to solve it, even the manager just tries tl give silly reasons don't have any knowledge and still explaining us about the problem but didn't try to solve those. There is some kind of sound coming from clutch side continues for which I had visited service center more than 6 times still problem is there and the worst part their manager, in the end, is coming and saying it can't be fixed, it's the tvs engine which has these characteristics, it produces these sound in some ntorq bike after 2 to 3 months, even if we fix these sound will come again after some time. When I asked to change that part as it's just a 3-month-old bike he said you would need to pay for that part as it doesn't come under warranty. Due to these sounds from the clutch bike not accelerating properly, the handlebars vibrate and the sound irritates as well. Mileage also drops.

Change oil and don't use the rear brake continuously as it may lead to sound from the clutch shoe.
