I purchased my bike on June 12th, 2021. It was an amazing day for me to own a brand-new sports bike. It's obviously my first bike. I am really excited to drive on the highway and in hilly and mountainous places. It was great for me to purchase a TVS Apache 160 4V just because it's my dream bike. It comes with five free services. The overall experience with the TV service center, which was close to my home, was awesome. They are such nice and very helpful people for problem-solving and help me in any situation. Today it has been almost 3 years since I drove this bike, and the overall experience is nothing short of amazing. I drive this bike for 550 to 600 km in a single day, and it's like nothing when I reach my destination. I drive this bike every day, and it was something normal when it was purchased on my first day. It's totally driven around 25000 km, and it looks like a brand new car to date. I follow this thing: change engine oil at 3000 to 3500km, inspect your tire every 15 days, fill air in every 7 days, only use nitrogen air for better braking experience; fill nitrogen in the tire is 25 in front and 32 in rear; every time use microfiber cloth for cleaning bike body parts for long-lasting sign; cruise your bike at 70–80 km for better mileage; don't use oil or gris for chain lube; use only chain spray for better experience and long-lasting of your chain spoke kit. Every time you start your bike, always turn on your indicator, wait 5 seconds, give time to the fuel pump to start and reset the system. After you start your bike, every morning, start your bike and wait 10 to 15 seconds for better engine health. In the city, drive, avoid gear sifting, don't rush your bike, drive smoothly, always stand your bike on a double stand, and change the air filter, brake pad, disk oil, or spark plug every 8000 to 10000 km. To date, I love this bike, and my overall experience was great. I had tears in my eyes just because I bought it for my cutie. And that last one is, I love you 3000.

Service:-Its generally a good idea to keep the bike regularly serviced, If not at least before a long trip, especially if its 100+ kms and you’ll be on the highway a lot. Ofcourse there are lots of mechanical sheds spread all around, But those mechanics most of the time dont know what they’re doing, as there are more and more electronic parts in the bikes these days. Gear: Please, Please ensure you have proper riding gear. Its common sense to have some sort of protection whenever you ride, But its especially important when you’re riding long distance in India. Wear a helmet that’s at least ISI standard, If possible go for better standard and make sure you're ready to spend at 4–5K (if you can buy a bike that’s 80+ you can definitely afford a 5k worth helmet and it’ll save you from this little problem called being brain dead.). Additionally , Go for a riding jacket(If you can afford it) or at least a tough leather or Polyester. Make sure your arms and body are covered with something that’s tough and will save you from road rash. Also riding pants (Again, If you can afford it) or at least a tough pair of jeans coupled with a pair of boots should protect your legs and feet. Make sure you wear gloves. There are no alternatives for gloves just get a pair they shouldn’t cost more than 600–1500 if you want something that’s less pricey.

literally while buying this bike I was so excited. after riding approx 400000. I felt major problems on that engine head. it started dysfunctioning and led to breaking walls and pistons under the engine compartment. I was shocked to see that scenario. I would say that TVS is liable for this loss.

Great Bike, Disappointing Service ExperienceRating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐Review:I recently purchased the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, and overall, it's been a fantastic ride. However, I encountered some issues with the service center in my city, which dampened my experience.Pros:Excellent bike performance and ride quality.Sleek and sporty design.Smooth buying experience.Cons:Disappointing service experience at the local service center.Overcharging for routine maintenance.Lack of transparency in billing and justification for high costs.Details:My journey with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V started off on a high note. The bike's performance and style exceeded my expectations, and I thoroughly enjoyed every ride. However, my enthusiasm took a hit when I visited the local service center for my fifth service at 12,500 km. Despite expecting routine maintenance, I was shocked to receive an exorbitant bill of Rs. 7,000 for what seemed like minor adjustments and basic servicing. Feeling skeptical, I decided to seek a second opinion from a trusted local mechanic, who confirmed my suspicions and completed the same service for less than Rs. 1,000. This stark contrast in pricing and service quality left me disappointed and disillusioned with the service center's practices.Recommendation:Despite the service center issues, I would still recommend the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V to others. However, I would advise potential buyers to consider alternative service options or inquire about service experiences at other TVS service centers.

The Apache 160 4V special edition delivers a compelling package for riders seeking a blend of performance, style, and affordability. From the outset, the buying experience sets a positive tone, offering a smooth transaction that lays the groundwork for an enjoyable ownership journey. Once on the road, the bike impresses with its dynamic riding capabilities, providing a thrilling experience that satisfies the craving for adrenaline-fueled adventures. However, a notable drawback emerges in the form of the absence of dual-channel ABS, which may raise concerns for safety-conscious riders. While the bike excels in delivering a thrilling ride, the lack of this crucial safety feature leaves a gap in an otherwise impressive package. It's a reminder that while performance is essential, safety should never be compromised.Despite this shortcoming, the special edition variant shines in the aesthetics department, captivating onlookers with its stunning appearance. The visual appeal adds an extra layer of satisfaction to the ownership experience, enhancing the pride of ownership and turning heads wherever it goes. One of the standout features of the Apache 160 4V special edition is its low servicing costs. This aspect provides a practical advantage, making ownership more affordable in the long run. With maintenance expenses kept in check, riders can enjoy peace of mind knowing that their investment is not only thrilling to ride but also economical to maintain. In summary, the Apache 160 4V special edition offers a compelling proposition for riders looking for a balance of performance, style, and affordability. While the absence of dual-channel ABS may be a concern for some, the bike's dynamic riding capabilities and stunning aesthetics help offset this drawback. Coupled with its low servicing costs, it presents itself as a solid choice for riders seeking an exhilarating yet practical riding experience.

Apache RTR 160 4v BS6 E20 with Bullpup exhaust Review after 7000 kms

Rajdip Pal
PROS: The riding experience is good and smooth, looks are nice & sharp, performance is good, the soft seat is comfortable for short rides, and the exhaust sound can put a smile on your face.CONS: The biggest con is turning radius on this bike is too high for a naked 160cc, the rear brake bite is not good enough, and mileage could've been better considering 160 cc, the seat is soft so it won't be comfortable for long rides, and last but not the least is TVS service experience.

Apache RTR 160 4v BS6 E20 with Bullpup exhaust Review after 7000 kms

PROS: The riding experience is good and smooth, looks are nice & sharp, performance is good, the soft seat is comfortable for short rides, and the exhaust sound can put a smile on your face.CONS: The biggest con is turning radius on this bike is too high for a naked 160cc, the rear brake bite is not good enough, and mileage could've been better considering 160 cc, the seat is soft so it won't be comfortable for long rides, and last but not the least is TVS service experience.

My journey on apache160 4v
Chauhan Vatsalkumar Amrutji

Great Bike, Disappointing Service Experience

Great Bike, Disappointing Service Experience

PROS: The riding experience is good and smooth, looks are nice & sharp, performance is good, the soft seat is comfortable for short rides, and the exhaust sound can put a smile on your face.CONS: The biggest con is turning radius on this bike is too high for a naked 160cc, the rear brake bite is not good enough, and mileage could've been better considering 160 cc, the seat is soft so it won't be comfortable for long rides, and last but not the least is TVS service experience.
