Reviews of TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

Service centers have poor knowledge about new BS6 bikes, so they don't know how to solve any of our problems. So bike experience was poor because of them so I don't need this bike any more. I am tired of telling problems again and again after paid service. I don't want to get paid service anymore they have taken lots of money but problems are not solved, so I think this is utter non sense.

At first, i almost bought pulsar 180, but the kind of response which i got from the tvs apache team was way better than the pulsar team. Pulsar bikes are undoubtedly good, however, people with whom you will need to deal.In the near future must be open and helpful. They were helpful, but found apache people more helpful and willing to.Give the required response as the first time buyer in this segment.I was riding bajaj ct100 earlier and upgraded with this and now found it really good.Super comfortable, sleek design, looks appealing. My ride is apache 160 4v blue (disc). This is the second day with it and hoping for great journeys ahead.Speed is terrific!! smoothness super!! very easy to.Handle and amazing. Experience is really overwhelming as of now.Glad that i got this home!

When i drive only 7/8 km bike engine heats to much and service center are responding that this is new bike it's not problem when i buy done 2nd service finally i know it's problem and i have to mail @ tvs wait for response. I suggested to tvs learn from suzuki service are they are awesome.Buyer please think and buy.

I like this Bike very much but I can't afford. If I could afford bike in future I will surely prefer TVS RTR 160 4V no doubt. But friend's I can't tell anything about the performance of the bike, since I didn't ride ever but the looks is really awesome, it's a youngsters choice. Congratulations those who have already bought it.

Poor buying experience
Loot of issues in the bike including modes
In sports mode the gear indicator light keep on beeping.
Heating issue . Get over heated even after 30 minutes ride
Within 15 days the bike rear wheel got out of line .
Regretting after purchasing special edition.
Only hope service center are responding and cooperating .that the only hope

It was a good buying experience....It have been terrific experience in cornering.... But after riding 200km, its started giving pop up sound on deaccelerating... The service centre give excuses all the time when i give the reason to change the silencer.... Till now i completed 1k km... Although the performance is good but it have silencer sound issue...

It's a great bike. I would definitely recommend this bike for young people. Mileage is decent. I get around 54-56 in urban mode on highways and 46-48 in city. Mileage will go down in sports mode. But sports mode is absolutely crazy. The bike gives best performance in sports mode. I would say other bikes in this segment gives better mileage like the fz150 and Gixxer but then again it depends on the way u ride. This bikes gives better performance than most of the other bikes in this segment. If u want a performance bike that gives decent mileage I would recommend this one.
Slight variation starts at 70kmph but disappears around 95kmph. The too speed I've achieved is 120. It can do better. The gear shifting is absolutely smooth.
Cons:They could've given dual channel ABS. And they should've given 140 rear tyre. Pillion comfort is average.

At 1st i have doubt on the headlight of 160 4v because of the looks and finally i got bike at price of 1.29.And now the Headlight is the Head turner on Roads, really it looks amazing in nights. And one more thing the Double barrel Race Exhaust gives you goose bumps at speed of 90 plus speed, the sound will be change at this speed and it get louder... The Riding position on these bike Really awesome and pillion will be more comfortable on back side. And finally the speed when i completed 1st service I achieved a top speed of 130.May think it will go 133 plus after 5th service. But one thing from TVS i didn't like that is, it doesn't have any updates on adding an Top end gear that is sixth gear, yes except rr310.

Buying experience was good at the first day bike gets heated even after 1 2 km rides but after 2 3 days it goes down then the look is very good aggressive and attractive the horse logo is just amazing i get the mileage in between 45 to 50 kmpl but there are some.problems such as rear break makes sounds and vibration at high RPM but overall bike is really very good.
