I bought a TVs apache rtr 160 4v bs6. It's been just 4 months but m facing an issue which even the service center guys doesn't have any clue about. My bike engine automatically gets switched off while trying to change gear or decelerate. Doesn't happen every time. I visited 3 service centers but all in vain. I even read other people 's complaints regarding the same issue.

Is apache rtr 160 4v better than bajaj pulsar ns 160

Tvs apache rtr 160 4v buying experience was good, but before buying the bike they said to us that they will give us a helmet free of cost but the next day (actually buying day) after pdi and payment they refuse to give us a helmet and also they charged 300 extra for number plate at that we don't know about that, but after researching in all different brands they said it includes with the on-road price. The looks of this bike are impressive from the backside, the front look is better in limited editions. Allover performance is good you will find the torque and the power is better than any bike in this segment, the initial pickup is so satisfying. Very comfortable for both riders as well as a pillion and it is very easy to ride. The first service of this bike is 500-750 km or in 3 months, servicing price is affordable so it helps us to maintain the bike properly.Pros of apache rtr 160 4v1) Design and build quality: the apache rtr 160 4v looks quite similar to its elder sibling, the rtr 200 4v. The tank shrouds add a muscular look to the bike and the naked headlamp goes on to snarl at anyone who crosses its path.2) comfort: it is quite a comfortable bike to ride in the city traffic as well as in villages. The vibration levels on the bike are quite low at cruising speeds. The seat is well-cushioned. The single seat is good for both the rider and the pillion.3)features: there is an engine kill switch that allows easy navigation through city traffic jams. Self-start on the bike is a convenient feature that allows easy startup of the bike. There is an all-digital console with several indicators on the instrument cluster.4) service network: tvs have quite a wide network of dealerships and service centers all across India.Cons of apache rtr 160 4v1) lack of dual-channel abs: even in 2022, the bike comes without the option for dual-channel abs. This comes as a disappointment since there are options at similar prices that come equipped with dual-channel abs.2) lack of a 6th gear: given the performance of the bike, it is a disappointment that the transmission is only limited to 5 gears. The gears are tuned for shorter shifting as well, making it a hurdle while riding in city traffics.3) handlebar positioning: for shorter customers, riding the bike would be quite a challenge. People over 6 feet will have no problem riding the bike with a straight back. The seat height could have been raised for a more convenient ride that could take the bike anywhere across the country and would not face any issues.
