I bought apache RTR 200 4v with ride mode version for 1.71 lakhs on road Mangalore Karnataka. Engine is smoother than before, obliviously BS6 engine is very smooth, throttle response is very nice, I can reach 0-60km/h within 3.7sec. Due to ride modes update, the bike's mileage has been increased from before. I am claiming 52 km/l after 1st service. The urban and rain mode will decrease the power to 160cc power figure so it will increase mileage and sport mode will make you feel like 200cc bike with full power.
Build quality is nice, so no issue with looks but I face issue with side stand. The side stand is very small. 3 times bike fell while standing on side stand. You should keep bike at very straight surface but still you feel like it will fall. Service is very cheap I paid 670 Rs. for first service. Pillion seat is comfortable. Rear brake is not good as expected but company recommends you to use front brake at 90% so you need to change your riding style. Top end is not good like ns200, you can easily cruze at 100-110 km/h with little vibrations. Stable at corners. And super stable at high speeds, max i did 117 km/h till date. I am sure it will go till 140 km/h. Verdict: if you want safety (comes with dual channel abs) + pillion seat comfort (unlike mt15) and reasonable mileage as per riding style best mid range performance this is the bike for you. Please buy with ride modes version so you never regret for mileage.

The buying experience was quite good. Looks are attractive and the stickers make it look sharper and sportier. The acceleration is amazing from 0 to 60 km/h in just 4.1 second. Very easy to ride in traffic and I don't miss a 6th gear on this bike on highways because the gear ratios are long enough. It can reach a top speed of around 138 km/h It offers the best features in this segment. Slipper clutch, fully digital console with smart x connect etc. First service cost was around 800. Overall the bike is an absolute beast with zero complaints from my side although the side stand could have been a bit longer that's the only con. Rtr is already better than ns200(my opinion) in bs6 version . Go for it without any doubt.

First of all none of my friends didn't suggest me this rtr 200 because of the old 200 version performance But i bought rtr 200 2.O abs on my self risk but the frank matter is this is the good bike and worth for the cost Especially the sudden pickup and slipper clutch is very useful in shifting gears and sudden breaking Exhaust sound is very nice one Dual channel abs is such a good thing in rushed roads But the minus is releasing the side stand.

I bought this bike after testing almost all of its rivals and the most important thing i liked for this vehicle is its practicality and ease of use. Now about riding experience, i was using a yamaha motorcycle before this, so you expect what kind of refinement i expect from a motorcycle, frankly this bike didn't disappoint me, in fact i surprised with the refinement level of this bike, it is decently smooth throughout its rev band. Now about riding comfort, it is providing an excellent riding experience in both city and highway with its perfectly tuned suspension setup. Seats are perfectly shaped and well cushioned. I own a version with both abs and slipper clutch, so the clutch feel is fantastic, butter smooth gear shifts and absolutely fantastic braking. Now about service and maintenance, service quality is just satisfactory, maintenance costs are also very low. Now about the performance, this bike can be called the mid-range king, its everything is about the strong mid-range torque, this vehicle can easily cruise on highway at a speed of 80kmph in 5.5-6k rpm which the sweet spot for this engine to cruise without any stress. I have clocked a top speed of 125kmph in this machine, which also possible, but engine feels stressed due to lack of top end torque. Pros: 1) absolutely a multi purpose machine (city commuting & touring).2) only bike with dual channel abs and slipper clutch in this price range.3) very soothing exhaust note (especially inside your helmet)4) meter console is the most attractive and informative.Cons:1) need more trained and exclusive technicians in service centers. 2) could have a 6-speed gear box ( not necessarily, just for saying something :-) )

Bought this bike 2yrs ago. I had 3 options in mind. The pulsar ns 200, yamaha fz25 and the rtr 200. The ns is a mad bike..Lot of power. Great top end. But one needs to whack the throttle a lot to get it going. Mainly meant for highways. But the what it lacks s the quality. N many of my friends using the ns shared that they got issues of chassis bend after an year or 2. Engine feels like its carrying lot of load n the engine s not at all durable. N the design also feels dated. Where as the fz25..Lik it may b 250cc motor..But it makes almost identical power of the rtr200. N like any other yamaha bikes..This one s also notorious for rusting. Rtr 200 s a great package would say. It has amazing sharp n edgy looks, gud power in the city, usable power on highways. N the best part s it do not vibrate. Till 127 its fast n after it takes time to pull up..Yet i managed a 156kph max. I wish it had 2 or 3 hp more power n a 6th gear..Then it would have rely smoked the competition..But u know no bike s perfect. I have completed 16k kms. I use it for city commutes, weekend rides n touring. I am very happy..I did make a good choice.

hi guys, I bought this happened 3 months but in this I'm facing a lot of issues like..
    1. facing issue with gear indicator is malfunctioning wrong way... ex: when I place in 1 gear it shows neutral..
2.engine pick up is very worst, guys don't believe and depend on this bike to sudden over take any heavy vehicle. Because it gets pick up down and take to pick up.
    3. every day from first service I'm using choke to start the bike, if I keep the bike for non work for some time again I face the same problem.
I'm very irritated with the dealer and the service, still they can't rectify the problem and very cheating in placing bike.. ex: I ordered Apache 2004v (white) they have place me black and it's a test ride vehicle. I can't guess the bike look new when I get from showroom.
service is very worst buy showroom and no proper solution for issue
guys my suggestion if u guys gonna buy bike above 200-400cc Please go for other brands. Because in 3 months I face this much issue main with engine then forward in 1 year what about the bike condition...!
