    Neeraj Thakur

    (buying experience)
I got this bike from b.U. Bhandari, pune.
The sales team is well-trained and aware of competitive bikes as well.
They can exactly highlight key differences between this bike and kawasaki z650rs, cbr650r, interceptor 650 etc.
They guided me with the right set of accessory packages.
I took 2 test rides with this and competitive bikes.
I was well convinced for putting down hard-earned money on this bike.
I would definitely keep this bike for a longer duration >5 years.
    (riding experience)
    Handling
    - the bike is a bit heavy if you try to move (powered off the bike) around in the parking, you feel the weight.
    - the bike is balanced and light to ride, very much comfortable on taking a sharp corner
    Engine
    - it's a well-tuned engine, and has torque across a good rpm range. The engine character changes post 4k rpm.
    - below 4k the bike feels like a normal bike, this is required for city traffic
    - post 4k, you get to know the bike can pull much harder.
    - ecs and throttle map is
    - its a well-refined triple engine, vibrations do creep in handlebars post 8k rpm (120km/hr @ 6th gear)
    Braking
    - perfect bite on front and rear tyres.
    - this gives confidence in picking up speed,
    - abs do interfere in a very smooth way.
    Servicing and maintenance
    - the service interval is 1 year, I feel this is too long,
    - after 4 months of use, I need to correct
    - top up the coolant (distilled water)
    - top up engine oil (10w-40)
    - replace rear brake pad (Nissin)
    - replace a clutch level as I dropped the bike while parking
    - spare parts are readily available
    - the service team is well aware of the bike and does acknowledge the highlighted issues.
    - I fully clean the chain every 400 kms (2 full fuel tanks)
    - I do get an economy of 16 km/l in the city and 25 km/l on the highway.
    Pros
    - the perfect fun-to-drive package
    - quick shifter works like butter (post 3k rpm)
    - compact in size
    - perfect sounding triple
    Cons
    - the bike is expensive to maintain, but you start getting to know it after a month.
    - the rear suspension is on the stiffer side
    - stock headlight is not so good for a night drives on the highway
    - it gets uncomfortable for the pillion after 50 kms.

The bike is absolutely fun to ride. Can be used for daily commutes as well as leisure rides on weekends.
I have maintained the bike with utmost care. The bike has been serviced twice only at an authorized Triumph service center.
The bike was never involved in an accident. The reason for selling the bike is that I wish to upgrade to a larger bike.
The treads on the tires are very well intact which shows that the bike was never involved in rash riding.
The bike is fitted with Triumph original accessories such as a crash guard and radiator guard.
