Triumph Tiger Sport 800

Triumph Tiger Sport 800 is expected to launch in India in December 2026 in the expected price range of ₹ 11,00,000 to ₹ 12,00,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to Tiger Sport 800 are Suzuki GSX-8R, Triumph Daytona 660 & Kawasaki Ninja 650. Another bike similar to Tiger Sport 800 is Yamaha YZF-R7 which is launching in December 2026 in India.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 800, as the name suggests, is a sport touring ADV motorcycle. It sits on the same platform as the Tiger Sport 660, however, it has a bigger, more powerful engine.

The design of the bike is similar to the Tiger Sport 660 and that’s a good place to begin with. It has the same, twin-LED headlight setup, which is topped by a transparent visor. The body panels are sharp, with a nice flow to all the lines. It is offering it in four colours - Sapphire Black, Caspian Blue, Cosmic Yellow, and Graphite.

Under the bodywork is a steel frame, with an adjustable Showa USD fork at one end and an adjustable monoshock at the other end.

Powering the Tiger Sport 800 is a 798cc, inline three-cylinder engine that makes 113bhp and 84Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter as well as a slip-and-assist clutch. Allowing the rider to temper the power delivery are three riding modes - Road, Rain, and Sport. In addition to this, the bike has cornering ABS, switchable traction control, cruise control, adjustable visor, and LED illumination. You can also add heated grips, TPMS, and a few more accessories at an added cost.

Its braking hardware comprises dual 310mm front discs and a single 255mm rear disc mounted on 17-inch wheels.

The Tiger Sport 800 is aimed at those who want a bike with sporty performance while offering the space and comfort of an ADV.
