About Street Cup
The Street Cup is the café racer variant of the 900cc Bonneville family. There are a few changes that mark it out as such: longer rear shocks and dropped ‘Ace’ style handlebars make for a sportier riding stance. Of course, there’s the requisite bikini fairing and it seats only one person with the cowl, although look closely and you’ll notice the pillion footpegs as well. It also distinguishes itself with shorter, upswept mufflers. The Street Cup borrows the twin-pod meter cluster and footpegs from its elder sibling Thruxton, but that’s where the similarity ends. It has the same high-torque engine as its brethren, which should be good for 53bhp. In addition, you’ll get rider modes, ABS, traction control and the options list is substantial, including fully adjustable Fox shocks. Its sporting intentions are enhanced by the new Nissin calliper at the front.
There are more than 120 accessories available for the Street Cup, so making it individual will not be any trouble. Expect it to launch sometime in 2017.
