Sironi Vergani Vimercate Milano was formed in 1971 in Milan, Italy. It used to manufacture off-road and trials bikes in the 1970s and 1980s. 1984 was when production ceased. 2014 saw a revival of the brand, with funding coming from the Shineray Group out of China.
SWM now stands for Speedy Working Motors, and there are six models that cover off-road and street usage. Displacement ranges from 300 to 650cc.
Due to the unavailability of BS6-compliant vehicles from SWM in the Indian market, there are fewer or no models available for display here. We will update this space once the manufacturer starts to update its India portfolio with BS6 vehicles.
SWM is an Italian brand that inherited Husqvarna’s plant and also the powertrain of the Superdual. In fact, the Superdual is a Husqvarna TE610 but with a different body style, more modern bits and an engine that now meets Euro-IV emission norms.
