  • Worse service, you need to suffer a lot if you buy intruder.

    Venkatesh

While buying sales guys will say we will provide good service but service that provided by them is very worst.

If you log a complaint suzuki never bothered about your complaint.

    It's really worse service.

You won't get spares. You need roaming around then for spares.

    Oil leakage under engine.

If you give vehicle for service people will use for their personal work i don't know how they travelled 6 kms.

Don't go by look, you need to suffer a lot if you go by look

Never ever seen such kind of worst service.

I am ready to sell my vehicle only because of their worst service.

Really very very bad, don't go by look and sales guys words

Logged a complaint a month ago till now there is no solution.

Few things which suzuki should immediately take care of in this bike.1) the handle of the bike is like scooty.. Most pathetic thing in the bike.2) should have been available in 220 and 350 as well.3) too much fibre/plastic body.4) no fuel injection technology. 5) silencer can be little better and little low.6) key should be in front.7) last but most imp.. Price: it should have come under 80-90k inr. And 220-350 should be priced at 1.10 and 1.50 respectively.

Attractive eye catching look. Totally in love with this bike.In look it's beat avenger and bullet also. Engine smoothness is just awesome.

  • First ride intruder

    Sam

This bike is smaller version of its big brother intruder 1800. My test drive was very comfortable but i did not like the concept of fuel transmission system of this bike, it should have fuel injection technology as per the cost of this bike. If i am buying a bike for 98,340 inr then i will not go for carburetor bike. So, basically this bike lags in advancement of fuel transmission system. But i like the looks of this bike, its highly impressive. Looks wise its a modern cruiser bike at this price range. And this bike seems efficient to me for a normal commuter point of view. This bike has small fuel tank which is not good on par with cruiser bike but yes it fulfills the daily commuting needs on a stylish machine. This bike has many similarities with gixxer 150. Its handling and ride qualities are very good.

  • Servicing and maintenance issues

I have purchased this bike 10 months ago in nagpur. There is a problem in ignition. While running on road engine gets off frequently. Don't know whether problem is with lock or ignition. Now the lock has been changed. But found difficulty in getting spare parts even in suzuki showroom. And also waiting period for spare parts is too long. And also after sale service is very poor.

We purchased Suzuki intruder from shiva suzuki dilshad garden Delhi last month. We rode only 1000 km and it is giving problem while engine start. Service center is also pathetic ,they said it will take 5 days for replacement of part. I recommend not to purchase this bike. Parts are not available in service center ,engineers does not have knowledge regarding the bike. Poor service and poor bike.

    Tushar Jaiswal

I use to ride this bike for about 100 kms daily out of which about 70kms is highway ride and rest is city. Unbelievably in getting fuel efficiency of 55 km/l. Yes it's true 55 km/l. I use to cruise at a speed of 75 km/hr. Totally in love with this machine. It's an eye catcher, supremely comfortable seat and perfect seating posture. 2 hours daily drive never makes me feel tired. Didn't found any cons in this bike. Although it is a 155cc engine but I don't think that it lacks somewhere. I can't tell about others but it fulfills all of my requirement and hence it's a perfect bike for me.

    Nakul

This bike is only for those 1) who are looking for comfort (seat is too damn comfortable)2) who are looking for decent urban cruiser (155cc engine is good, but its not for extreme performance)3) who need decent mileage (this is 155cc gixxer underneath of intruder clothing)4) who need feature rich bike at range of 1 lakh (abs, digital speedo with controllable rpm and gear indicator, tubeless radial tyres, led tail light)5) who don't care about public opinion about bike's styling. (being beautiful or being ugly is a perspective).

  • The suzuki intruder simply cruised its way into my heart!

    Ananth Shankar

I am 45 years old and keen biker for the last 25 years. I have been able to afford buying my own motorcycles. From the first Kawasaki Bajaj Eliminator in Bangalore to both the imported Kinetic Hyosung Comet and Aquila to Honda CBR and Impulse as well as Xpulse. My purchases included over 3 Royal Enfield's and ranged from 100cc to 500cc. In fact owning so many meant I never truly had the chance to fall in love with any one particularly as it had become a bad habit to change to whatever was new with no emotional attachment.
I could never have imagined therefore that the first suzuki I ever bought would take that spot in my heart, that too an oddball looking, not too popular 155cc offering - the intruder. Firstly, the bike appealed to my head. Many service centers - check. Proven, reliable engine - check. Good handling with abs - check. Comfortable for rider and pillion - check. Economical - check. Light to maneuver with a long wheelbase - check. Good ground clearance - check. So with all this, the bike instantly reminded me of my first owned motorcycle, the Kawasaki eliminator in seating position and being 45 meant one gets the maturity to neither care for opinions on their own looks or the motorcycle!
My purpose of this was for solo tours (my friends and family all prefer cars) where the power to weight ratio being a single person was an advantage for pick up and speed, so with this confidence I took this bike out for its first ride. A 1400km bangalore - Goa no less. Now I have done many tours in 25 years on almost all my bikes and long story short - this bike was the best experience ever. The sheer comfort, pace I could keep and handling on the sweepers meant that I clocked my record for non stop riding - 4 hours nonstop in the saddle and fresh with zero fatigue. With this style I was able to cover 700kms in less than 11 hours. Now compare that to any single cylinder motorcycle, even the duke 390s and I think the number of stops one has to take with the stressful position and speed would end up meaning the same time to reach destinations!
I was so taken back at this discovery that I tried the same while return and this time was able to do 5 hours riding non stop! so the intruder has become my all time favourite touring machine for simply this- for it is never pace or pickup that takes you places, but comfort and consistency. I currently have a BMW GS, a Mojo and an xpulse, but still when it's time to go on a highway, it's the intruder that calls out to me - Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Goa. This little guy has taken me everywhere in supreme comfort, highway, bad roads or no roads. With a 170mm ground clearance that's more than any sports tourer or naked including Dominar, Duke, CBR, Ninja or Royal Enfield's. And in this the reliable, economical yet quick and enjoyable suzuki engine combined with the car like comfort of seat in the intruder is frankly the best amongst all the 33 motorcycles I had in over 2 decades.
Combine that with just how much luggage space there is to put on the bike, from tank bag to two saddle bags comfortable on both sides, the intruder even turned some Harley riders heads, I kid you not! add to that, a no fuss, well carried out, sub 1500 service cost with service centers everywhere means a no stress ownership too.
Having a bike called strange and avoided simply based on looks has made the market miss out on a bike the same qualities that our family has. They may not look the best but they certainly make you feel the best! I believe I discovered this with the intruder and whole heartedly recommend the ownership to experience it, not just a test ride or opinion from friends with little or no experience in motorcycling.
