Reviews of Suzuki Gixxer SF [2015-2018]

1. Buying experience- a year before i went in the showroom to buy a bike. Staff was good. They gave us all information regarding bike and documentation. They offer as a test ride. All over our experience at the tine of buying was good.

2. Riding experience- i use this bike mainly for daily use and those long highway rides. In city bike is simple to ride, bike gets controlled easily. On highway bigger it's stable enough but you fill little under-powered. You can ride 80-90kmph easily on highway.

3. Looks are great. Easy to call eyeballs of everyone. As it is not big cc bike performance is satisfactory.

4. You get 3 free services after that each servicing cost you around ? 500-1,000. Maintenance is not on the higher side. Sometimes replacement products are not available and will will need to wait for some of them.

5. Pros: a good looking bike, mileage, comfortable riding posture, weight distribution.

. Cons: ground clearance (you can hit every possible bump on highway), parts availability, mirrors seems odd.

Superb bike.. I was amazed when i went to a short trip in this bike. Gear function mileage is awesome. Don't get worried about the vizar. It won't give you a problem. Tyre grip is great, and clutch also very good. Handle will not give any problem when you use hand gloves. Buy it and enjoy your ride.

The bike is awesome. I won't give it a 5 star because for two reasons, one the monoshock is hard, second the tyres don't give much grip while off roading, otherwise there is no problem with the bike. The gear is not that smooth but it is okay. Go for the bike! but i am not going to recommend it to someone who want to commute daily in bad roads. If you have to travel to your office/college where you have to pass through bad roads then don't go for this bike, occasionally in bad roads is okay with the bike but daily i won't recommend. Overall the bike is good, has good throttle response, braking is awesome, my one is equipped with abs, the sound is sporty, look is good, but the seat is okay not excellent and i did't find any issue with the ground clearance as people often speak about it when they speak about this bike. And if you are confused between the naked version of gixxer and sf then i will surely recommend to buy the naked one, i bought this only for abs. Overall it is good, go for it!

I owned a gixxer sf abs version, the abs is working well, the positive side is the great look and good mileage, was planning to buy ns 200 but in the last movement i changed my mind because i felt gixxer is more suitable for daily commuting, only concern is the pillion seat.. It's irritating

It's looks are mind blowing.Its performance is great.. I got some services free and it's maintenance services are very less compared to any other .... I just love it......

2. Riding experience: as smooth as 'makkhan' and roaring machine like 'cheetah'. Awesome pick-up and comfortable handling. Just loving it. Initially mileage was 65kmpl on highway...More than claim... City/off-road mileage is between 55~60kmpl .

My red gixxer sf looks so sexy....Turning 9/10 heads round the corner.. Looks:4.5/5

4. Wide service network.. Reasonable rates of original spare parts. Replaced rhs tank cover @ just 1400rs. Maintenance is as low as 800/service..

5. Only one con: no projector headlamps. Conventional head lamp looks deam little bit.. So this beast becomes blind at night on highways.

Final call:

If you are planning to buy entry level sport bike with tight pocket...I.E.Sub 1lakh...Then you should go for it. Even new gixxer(naked) is available at >90k inr price tag. Suzuki has nailed it with this gixxer duo. Highly recommended against yamaha fzs and honda hornet...
