An awesome bike for short and long rides alike. Great fuel efficiency of around 45 to 50 kmpl. Fantastic acceleration and brakes that inspire confidence. Add the trust associated with a brand like suzuki and you have the gixxer sf fi. A must have for a city like Mumbai where the traffic makes you think twice about buying a four wheeler. Highly recommended.

Purchased the newly launched abs version of gixxer sf fi (abs) from 9 star suzuki. Buying experience was not so great as i did not get my invoice even after 1 week of purchase due to some software upgrade in suzuki server. The show room staff was very courteous and they kept my issue on priority and delivered the invoice to me.Its been almost a month from the date of purchase and i have not faced any issues so far. The ride is very smooth and the bike gives an amazing balance. You can easily take sharp turns and bend in anyway. The abs works amazingly well and you can actually feel it while applying sudden brakes and the bike does not dive in or skid. Pick up is good for a 150 cc bike and the fi system makes sure that you get the extra thrust while accelerating. It has two major cons:1) rear view mirror is very wide. It is broader than the handle line and the width of bike is increased by couple of inches because of this.2) gear shift is very hard. It even gets stuck between neutral and second gear shift.Third thing would be the mileage. The showroom guy promised an average of 58 kmpl but i am struggling to get 40 (although we cannot expect much in the rush hours of bangalore)I always liked the look of sports bike so this bike just suits the position. It looks fabulous and all the stickers and designing add the flavor of a racing bike.If you are a sports bike lover and your pocket cap is 1.2 lakhs. This is the bike for you.

So i got this bike like a week ago, i was going to buy the r15 but being my first bike everyone suggested me to buy this. At first i thought it'll be a letdown but trust me i was completely wrong! this bike has a really good body to weight ratio and ride height so anyone around 5'5 to 6 and above can ride this very comfortably. It's going to around 45-50 kms a litre which is really really good! and it has abs fi which is a plus at this price. Its very comfortable for daily commute and long rides and the seating posture is very less aggressive. I'd rate this bike around 7/10 for looks 8/10 for performance it's a really good bike to start your first riding experience as well as for experienced riders too. I hope my review helps you out a bit.

Buying experience :I bought this bike in chennai suzuki showroom. Their response is not so good and they are always in need of money. The only think running in their minds through out the purchase money. After having such good bikes in their bucket, suzuki must work on their customer service to attract buyers.Riding experience :It's a pleasure to ride suzuki gixxer sf fi abs. I was in a dilemma between gixxer vs honda hornet vs yamaha fz. After riding all 3 bikes and going through few reviews, i bought gixxer. And it never proved me wrong :) you feel very confident through out the ride, and especially handling is perfect. Pick up is very good. Abs works like a charm. After riding gixxer, you don't feel confident riding other bikes. Such is comfort level gixxer provided to you. I felt suspension is very good, but i heard from pillion riders that it is a bit stiff. It can cruise around 80 kmph with no stress on engine. The top speed i have attained is 111 kmph, where you see minimal vibrations with more stability.Looks:I am using sparkling black variant. Before buying, that is my least priority colour. As that is the only immediate available bike in the showroom, i opted for that and it never let me down. Looking at blue and sp editions, i am more than happy that i have opted for black. 6th month after my purchase, it still has same glow where as the the other 2 variants faded away. So, for longer run, i would suggest to go for black colour. Service and maintenance :I am done with second service recently. Still couldn't validate their level of service. Till 10th day from the date of service, bike seems too smooth. After that, the ride is a bit hard. I could also see that chain is rusted, which might be due to improper lubrication during service. I feel it is let down.Pros :1. Good looks 2. Great pick-up 3. Mileage - 45 kmpl4. Abs 5. Ride quality 6. Comfortable Cons:1. No kick start available 2. Ground clearance is slightly low 3. Elevated pillion seat 4. Pillion rider feels a bit stiff suspension.

8 month gixxer fi worst bike i ever seen in my life such an garbage

Santosh K
8-month experience useless bike for me 1.Buying experience: full of a lie before selling the bike. They say we provide on spot service, or if it possible we will send you the serviceman. I stuck badly two times when i asked them for the support they denied to provide the support.2.Riding experience: comfortable 3.Details about looks, performance, etc: look is good. Performance is worst i bought this bike in july 2018 now look at the condition of the bike after 3 months: 1. Battery changed 2. Clutch plate changed 3.Steel plate 4. Gear spring 5. Clutch gasket 6.Disc clutch pressure 7.Clip. These all have been sort out but after one month 2 more problems have been started again and they say you have to change it ( i don't know about the parts name}this all happen only because of the suzuki staff. I think the whole staff knows about the bike was defective but they were hiding all those things. When i asked them how is it possible a new bike will have so much of problem they start blaming me.And i know this bike is not at all safe to ride.4. Servicing and maintenance dont trust suzuki service people. 5 pros and cons but still i will say the bike is not bad .Parts are too weak and very sensitive.Bikes not made for road I remember this experience all happen in chor bazaar. Frankly, if i can say something i wasted my money i wasted my time and i bought a paid trouble which can put me in danger anytime. If anyone can help me out of this problem i will be very thankful to you.Thank you suzuki for providing me such a wonderful expensive garbage.

Been using the bike for about 3 months now, performance of the bike is good, it has decent power and continues to accelerate linearly even at speeds above 90. The breaking distance is low , overall good control.
It is best suited for single riders the pillion seat is not comfortable for long distances.
it has good balance and stability even on bumpy roads at high speeds.
Cons:
No luggage space
Pillion seat not comfortable
Air cooled engine , emits heat in heavy traffic
No kicker
Fi variants need min of 3l petrol in tank
Rear view mirrors too wide out thus may come in collide in heavy traffic
Stock saree guard is very weak
Not suitable for a family bike
Headlights are useless , very poor visibility in dark roads
No split seat
Pros:
Good mileage city and highway -48-53kmpl
Comfortable for single rider
Fits through small gaps in traffic
Suitable for daily usage
Suitable for short riders
Not very heavy
Build quality is good
Looks awesome !

A great package all together. Superb initial pick-up, great riding posture, handling and performance are phenomenal. The only thing i felt bad was the gear shifting, it's a bit too hard. The addition of sixth gear could have done wonders as well. But overall it's a punchy, peppier and a great machine. I own the sf fi abs version. So the review is based on this variant only.

Best bike among 155cc segment.. Best value for money... Awesome riding experience with the best handling..It's looks like e beast...And a awesome performance and a standard mileage of about 45-50kmpl...Do service on time to keep your beast perfect...As suzuki is known for its performance gixxer has a smooth stability at its top speed too..A good aerodynamics better than bikes like r15, apache 160,180 and the 200 ,etc among 155cc

This is bike which gives you abs in 155cc before no other bikes comes abs in 155cc so this feature makes my bike different and it's very comfortable to ride long distance and abs make you feel more comfortable riding in a road where more pothole and speed-breakers are there so i'll suggest everyone that let's go for it
