    1. Buying experience is good. I had taken the test ride and really it feels very comfortable while riding. Radial tyres provide better road grip while turning. Abs is really helpful while braking. It feels much safer. Previously i has owned honda unicorn. I can really find the difference between these two. Fi varian really good for mileage. It give around 45 kmpl. Look is really awesome. Seat height is good for me. I am 5.5 tall. I feel more comfortable. Pillion ride may be little uncomfortable as the back is up as compared to pulsar. I ride pulsar 200 ns but frankly speaking i feel more comfortable in suzuki. It cost me 125k on road with 5 years 1st party insurance.

First of all this is the best bike under 150-160 cc category. I would not consider r15 on this because mainly is does not have abs still, yamaha even the gixxer naked version get an abs as standard. Grow up yamaha. So this is the best fully faired bike available in the market as of now. I own this special edition and this is definitely a looker.I would like to mention some pros and cons as well:Pros: Gorgeous looking bike Best in class mileage 45-50 kmpl Linear power delivery Superb power i think it can go till 125 Value for money - worth every penny spent Cons:Pillion seat is very uncomfortable Mirrors are too wide(cons). Good view of whats behind(pros)Gear box is too too hard. Not a smooth shifter Bit heavy.Fuel cap comes out so you have to hold it in hand wile refilling. This concludes what i feel about the bike. This is subjective.

The waiting for the bike was about 15 days i chose the one with abs bought it as soon as it came into the market The power delivery of the bike is quite linear with smooth acceleration and tall gearing the bike can do speeds of up to 100kmph with almost no vibration post which you can feel the vibrations. The bike sounds great it has a grunt to it and looks spectacular the riding position is really comfortable the service for the gixxer is really nothing to worry about no problem there. Pros: Looks great, Good mileage (45+)Good riding posture, Fully loaded speedometer Abs, Service Con: Air cooled engine at least an oil cooled engine was expected for the price The headlight is an issue for night rides. The fi variant doesn't come with a kick starter

Perfect first bike for me. Comfortable to ride either in city with huge traffic or in a highway. Mileage wise and low end performance I am satisfied. Only thing I feel it would have been much better is top speed but I can cruise 110 constantly when I ride in absence of a pillion. Finally A reliable bike.

Worth every penny. Buying experience was decent. As far as the riding experience is concerned, gixxer sf won't disappoint you. The throttle is absolutely liner with no vibrations upto 90 kmph. Single channel abs does what it has to do marvelously. The bike is absolutely perfect when maneuvering in traffic is. Absolutely easy to control. In Spite of a small gap in the center of the engine, this bike looks hot and definitely is an eye catcher. I own the ecstar metallic triton blue colour, and i fell in love with it everytime i turn on the ignition.Pros:1) light weight; best for daily commute 2) excellent mileage3) great looks 4) riding posture very comfortable for daily commute + long tours. 5) fi variant has a very linear power delivery. 6) low maintenance costsCons:1) headlamps are useless during night rides. Suzuki definitely needs to work on that. 2) excessively wide mirrors; would definitely hit in traffic3) comparatively hard gear shifting.

I think this is the right time for me to post my review after running my gixxer sf for 4000+ kms. I had used to bike for long drives (400km in a day) like twice in a month and also i'm using for my regular office commute. This is the best bike i ever love. I'm 6.2' inch tall and i never felt small sitting in this bike. Tucking is not a problem. In my earlier bike rides (discover, pulsar hero, honda etc) i used to get severe back pains. But, surprisingly i never got back pain even during long drives except for neck sores due to helmet and continuous focus on straight in high ways. Sitting is comfortable. Mileage is good. I get around 40km in highways and i never bothered checking in cities. What is the use of checking after i purchased? :p I initially had plans to get re thunderbird 350x. But after deep reviews, i found that they still have the same old engine and their control would be bit tough, especially the vibration problems after you reach a specific rpm.Bike styling is top notch and all the people in road keeps glaring at me. The biggest positive i felt is the power. The bike never felt like 150cc but more than that. It's power is awesome even when i went on doubles ride. My bike can reach 100kmph within few seconds and it tries to increase even if i don't notice. I went to a max of 113kmph and i didn't feel any vibrations or difficulty/resistance to the engine. The engine is smooth. Another interesting thing is my bike overtakes ktms and res (like a pro) and i feel proud to see my bike cruise like a top sports bike infront of them though they too try to race with me. However, i keep my speed below 110km for my own safety and to not give overload to the engine. I had used the bike on very bad roads too. The suspension by default will be very hard and you cannot ride fast on non-plain roads. I got them smooth by getting it adjusted (it comes with 7 stage adjustment) and now the suspension feels ok. Dynamics or control using my bike is awesome. Gixxer sf is a well-balanced bike and permits easy cornering despite the fairing. One of the main reasons why i choose this bike was due to the straight handlebar instead on clip-on type. I don't feel confident riding clip on type bikes (i think this will be problem for long rides) and the straight handlebar on a sports bike is like filling gap between sports and highway cruise bikes. I'm extremely happy with my choice. One disadvantage i found was with pillion seat. It is not much comfortable. My friends started feeling uncomfortable just after 30 mins of continuous ride. But sf is best for sole riding and for doubles for short rides.I do feel like the clutch and gears are little tight/hard to operate. Sometimes, the clutch and gear box behave odd (probably my bike had that issue) but by adjusting the clutch wires and after i got services, i'm not seeing the problem. Overall, i'm happy with my bike - a perfect companion in replacement of girlfriends :d

Buying experience was fine, suzuki does listen to the buyers about any kind of trouble caused by dealer. Prompt on social media also.Smooth and quick bike in racing segment, great control on any kind of road.Looks are pretty much eye catchy, looks are one factor to choose this bike amongst other competitors. Now the best part, i choose this bike because of the post sale support which we can expect from suzuki as here no of customers are not as many as others bajaj, honda, hero. So service staff provides always a good customer response, this was the major factor for me to go with suzuki. No of dealers and service center in a city could be very nice to have.No cons as of now.Happy riding.

For the better part of the last three decades, Suzuki and Yamaha have been locked in a fierce battle. 100cc two-strokes had been around for a while, but the launch of Shogun in 1993 took the fight to the next level. The Suzuki had a 10cc advantage over the Yamaha RX100, was...
