Suzuki is working on multiple electric vehicles for the Indian market, and the first EV to be launched in India will be the Suzuki Burgman Electric. But, besides the electric maxi-scooter, Suzuki is also said to be developing an electric version of its best-selling 125cc scooter — the Suzuki Access 125. Expected to be christened the Suzuki Access Electric, the EV is likely to make its official debut sometime in late 2024 or early 2025.
Regarding its styling, the Suzuki Access Electric might carry a similar design language as compared to its ICE counterpart. However, we can expect it to get some retro styling elements to make it stand out amongst its rivals. In terms of features, the Access Electric could come equipped with an LED headlamp, a fully digital instrument cluster, and connected tech. We can expect higher variants to be offered with a touchscreen display, complete with navigation maps and more.
In terms of specifications, although the official figures are unknown, the power figures will mostly be on par with what the rivals offer. As for its range, the Suzuki Access Electric is likely to offer a range of 100-150km on a single charge.
Regarding the cycle parts, the Suzuki electric scooter is likely to ride on 12-inch alloy wheels, wrapped in tubeless tyres. The suspension setup will comprise telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear with preload-adjustability. The braking duties will be handled by a disc brake up front and a drum brake at the back. As for safety, the scooter will feature a combined braking system as standard.
The Suzuki Access Electric will compete against the likes of the TVS iQube, Ola Electric S1, Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak Electric, and the upcoming Honda Activa Electric. As for its pricing, Access Electric is likely to be priced in the range of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Money back in 2 year when compared to petrol bikes. Power delivery is linear and predictable even if the battery is less than20%. It performs better than the Suzuki access 125. Very good build quality. charging quickly. Best pickup. Smooth ride. Valuable for money. Very comfortable for ladies and old men.

Long-Term Review of My Suzuki Electric Scooter After 15,603 KM
9 weeks ago
Shohil Lodhi
have been riding the Suzuki electric scooter for quite a long time now, and after completing around 15,603 km, I can say this review comes from real daily usage rather than first impressions. I mainly use it for city rides, market work, short highway stretches, and regular commuting, so I have experienced both the good and weak points properly. The biggest advantage of this scooter is comfort and smoothness. The ride quality feels stable even on rough roads, and the suspension handles speed breakers and potholes better than many lightweight electric scooters. The seat is comfortable for long rides, and the riding posture does not create much back pain during daily use.The acceleration is smooth rather than aggressive. It is not made for racing, but for practical riding. In traffic, the scooter feels easy to control, and the silent motor makes the riding experience relaxing. The braking performance is also decent and gives confidence during sudden stops.Battery performance has remained fairly consistent even after crossing 15,000 km. In normal riding conditions, I still get usable range for daily work. However, range drops slightly during heavy load, high-speed riding, or very hot weather. Charging time is acceptable for overnight charging at home.Build quality feels stronger than many new startup EV brands. Panels, switches, and overall fit and finish still feel solid after long-term use. Maintenance cost is low compared to petrol scooters, which is one of the biggest reasons electric scooters are becoming practical for regular users. There are some drawbacks too. The top speed is limited compared to performance-focused EVs, and service availability depends heavily on location. Also, if someone regularly travels very long distances in rural areas, charging infrastructure can still be a problem.Overall, after 15,603 km, I can say the Suzuki electric scooter feels reliable, comfortable, economical, and practical for daily commuting. It may not be the most powerful EV on the market, but for real-world everyday use, it performs well and feels dependable.
