RE Super Meteor Celestial 650 – 2.5 years / 23,000 km
6 weeks ago
Anupam
I’ve been riding my Super Meteor Celestial for over two and a half years and clocked 23,000 km. The bike has been an absolute delight – smooth 650cc engine, excellent highway comfort, premium looks, and solid reliability. Mileage is decent for a cruiser (around 22–25 km/l), and maintenance has been hassle-free. Even after long rides, comfort is great thanks to the relaxed seating and windscreen. Overall, a perfect touring partner with great road presence.

its a very good bike, the pickup, the power, everything is great, and even the mileage is better than gt 650, but the only setback I would say is the rigid shockers. they are so rigid that you will feel every bump even after getting the touring seat. talking about looks, it's an eye catcher and with amazing performance.

I bought the Celestial Red model in November 2023. Look it is the best version. My experience of buying was quite smooth.I was very clear that I wanted to buy a cruiser bike which must be more than 350 CC and that`s how I decided to buy Super Meteor 650.You can`t get a better cruising at this price. This bike's performance is top-notch.Pickup is like the gun. I have cruised till 120, it's very stable. For long rides it is perfect, the sitting posture makes it easy to ride the bike for hours.I got the first servicing of the bike, it was 3.5k, which is fair.Since this is a superbike so there has to be a clear understanding of this bike, it will require that kind of maintenance as well. This bike is not suitable for daily commutes. This bike is made for long rides and touring.Pros: 1. Road Presence 2. Power and performance 3. Long ridesCons: 1. Heavy vehicle 2. Above average maintenance.

Super Meteor 650 – A Royal Touch to Modern Cruising
7 weeks ago
Vikrant Kumar
Review: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 – A Cruiser That Rules the RoadsThe Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is more than just a motorcycle – it’s a statement on two wheels. Built on RE’s proven 648cc parallel-twin platform, the Super Meteor takes the familiar powerplant and wraps it in a true-blue cruiser form that feels both premium and purpose-built.Design & Build QualityFrom the very first glance, the Super Meteor 650 stands apart with its low-slung stance, wide handlebars, and chunky fuel tank. The fit and finish are top-notch, with chrome detailing, LED lighting, and alloy wheels lending it a modern edge while retaining the brand’s classic DNA. The wide seat and relaxed footpegs make it a genuine long-haul machine.Engine & PerformanceAt the heart is the tried-and-tested 648cc parallel-twin engine producing 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. The delivery is smooth, linear, and perfect for cruising at highway speeds. The 6-speed gearbox is slick, and the engine’s refinement makes it equally enjoyable in city rides. While not an outright performance machine, it offers plenty of grunt for overtakes and a confident, stress-free ride.Ride & HandlingThe Super Meteor shines in ride comfort. Its USD front forks and rear twin shocks strike a good balance between comfort and control. The low seat height (740 mm) gives riders of varying builds confidence, while the 241 kg kerb weight adds stability at speed. Cornering clearance is limited, as expected on a cruiser, but for its category, handling is solid and reassuring.FeaturesThe bike gets Royal Enfield’s Tripper Navigation pod, LED headlamp, USB charging, and quality switchgear. The instrument cluster blends analogue charm with modern functionality.VerdictThe Super Meteor 650 is arguably the most premium Royal Enfield ever built. It looks the part, rides beautifully, and delivers an authentic cruiser experience at a price that undercuts many international rivals. Yes, it’s heavy, and ground clearance could bother in Indian conditions, but for those who dream of effortless highway miles with timeless style, the Super Meteor 650 is a stellar choice.

An Absolute Gem of a Motorcycle
Pranav Bagai
This motorcycle has my whole heart. To be very honest, I don't own this bike as of yet, but this is my dream bike on a budget. For me, it's cruisers all the way. Sports bikes have never been my thing; to me, they are Bikes. But when it comes to cruisers, bobbers, choppers- that's what I call motorcycles. I am the biggest RE and Harley nerd I know, and this absolute machine manages to get the best of both worlds. The 648 cc engine and the 52nm torque it delivers are the literal driving factor of this motorcycle. You feel the power. The twin exhaust produces a very soothing but off exhaust note, very similar to the Harleys of the world. The Harley build of this motorcycle, with the lower seat height and the front gear pegs, gives the premium and comfortable cruiser feel that is just out of this world. The road presence of this motorcycle is just TOO GOOD. The handlebar is well placed and angled. The brakes are really nice. The clutch is a little tight, but the shifting is awesome. The headlight is pretty bright, although some would argue that you could use an upgrade or additional lights. If you're getting this particular motorcycle, with the amount of research I've done, I've got a few tips for you: 1) If you're planning on going on long tours or on high speeds at highways, you will require a wind shield since the wind will hit hard on this bike. 2) Make sure you either upgrade the seat and the pillion seat to RE's touring seat or any other comfortable seat if you're planning to go on tours, since they are more comfortable, and the rear suspension does not go easy on you. (Get a pillion backrest as well if you will have a passenger on this bike often) 3) You will never really feel the almost 250 kgs of this motorcycle unless it falls over, which it might at unstable grounds or around sharp turns and when the entire weight of the motorcycle is tilted(if not controlled properly), therefore I'd suggest you to get engine guards and sump bars and those engine bars, since the engine is a very sensitive organ of the machine. 4) Low ground clearance, be very careful around big potholes or steep speed breakers. 5) WEAR RIDING GEAR, you never know what's coming for you, therefore it's better to be safe than sorry. The heat that the engine gives out in a hot summer in the city will be a pain, and there's a tiny point in the exhaust where your feet go, which is not covered; you're better off wearing good riding boots. That's about it, folks. Yeah, this bike has its downsides, but that doesn't change the fact that this motorcycle is an absolute beast for what you pay for it. I love this bike.

I am quite fond of this particular Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 motorcycle. I have been using it for the past year and have had a truly enjoyable experience owning such a substantial machine. It certainly commands attention on the road and possesses considerable power. While the service and maintenance costs are a bit higher, they are, of course, essential, so I do not consider them a burden.

The Super Meteor 650 is hands down the sexiest bike I’ve ever owned. It looks stunning, feels powerful, and rides like a dream. The handling is unbelievably smooth — you feel like it’s glued to the road. In the city, you need some strength and control (it’s a Royal Enfield, after all), but on the highway, it’s pure magic — effortless, stable, and classy. It’s not just a bike, it’s an experience every single time you ride it.

Powerful Machine and Road Presence

I am quite fond of this particular Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 motorcycle. I have been using it for the past year and have had a truly enjoyable experience owning such a substantial machine. It certainly commands attention on the road and possesses considerable power. While the service and maintenance costs are a bit higher, they are, of course, essential, so I do not consider them a burden.

True Gentleman Cruiser – Refined Power and Royal Comfort

The Super Meteor 650 is hands down the sexiest bike I’ve ever owned. It looks stunning, feels powerful, and rides like a dream. The handling is unbelievably smooth — you feel like it’s glued to the road. In the city, you need some strength and control (it’s a Royal Enfield, after all), but on the highway, it’s pure magic — effortless, stable, and classy. It’s not just a bike, it’s an experience every single time you ride it.
