As I was not concerned to buy this scram although I have not to search any of these details in any website. Until on a day I was comming across a RE showroom I suddenly noticed the Scram. Then I visited there and have a look at it. Wow, it was wonderful I search about the Pros and Cons of the machine and I found it worthful. I ordered it now I am a proud owner.

Tips for Royal Enfield Scram 411

As compared to Himalayan I would prefer to purchase Scram Cause its Weight and cornering capability also the seat height is absolutely awesome..

The first time I laid eyes on the bike while picking it up, I felt a bit overwhelmed by its size and weight. Riding such a massive bike in Bangalore seemed like it could be quite inconvenient. However, the Scram amazed me with its ease of handling; it wasn't exactly beginner-friendly, but still surprisingly manageable. As I rode back home, I started getting acquainted with the motorcycle, and I found myself adjusting to it quite well. I'd have liked a tubeless option.

I am planning to buy one this year and would like to do a northeast ride. Further, with some mods on the bike, it could drive pretty decent power for highway rides. As I am planning to do solo I guess this much of a power drive would be more than enough. And the reliability of the Brand.

    Anwar Ali

Scram 411 is a bike that every bike enthusiast might want to have. It took me 3 months to finalize the bike and eventually landed on Scram 411 because of its performance, handling, and overall looks.
    Buying Experience:
Purchasing the bike was an exciting experience. The dealership provided excellent customer service, offering detailed information about the bike's features, pricing, and available customization options. The sales staff were knowledgeable, making the buying process smooth and informative.
    Riding Experience:
The riding experience on the Scram 411 bike is exhilarating. It's approximately 7800 kms on the meter in 8.5 months. I continuously drove for 550 km thrice (inter-state) and I must say why to restrict yourselves to city rides, this bike offers you more than what you expect. The bike's ergonomic design provides a comfortable riding posture, making long rides enjoyable. The handling is precise, and the bike responds well to rider input, instilling confidence while maneuvering through both city streets and open roads.
    Looks, Performance, and Details:
Visually, the Scram 411 bike is a head-turner. Its retro-modern aesthetic, characterized by classic lines combined with modern elements, garners attention wherever it goes. The bike's performance lives up to its appearance, with a powerful engine delivering impressive acceleration and smooth power delivery. The suspension setup absorbs road imperfections effectively, offering a comfortable ride even on uneven surfaces.
    Servicing and Maintenance:
In terms of servicing and maintenance, the Scram 411 bike is relatively user-friendly. Regular maintenance intervals are manageable, and the availability of spare parts is satisfactory. However, it's recommended to stick to authorized service centers for optimal care, as specialized knowledge may be required due to the bike's unique design.
    Pros and Cons:
    Pros:
Striking design that blends classic and modern elements
Strong and responsive performance with a smooth power delivery
Comfortable riding posture for extended journeys
Effective suspension system for a comfortable ride on various terrains
    Cons:
The seats could have been more comfortable.
odometer reading often gives you wrong readings and have to set it every time.

  • Perfect scrambler adventure bike who feel himalayan is taller and heavier.

    Rahul Kulkarni

    Buying experience:
This is my second re bike. I had a meteor 350 which i took to ladakh in 2022 and although it performed well, i wanted an adventure bike. My height is 5'6" and the himalayan is bit tall for me and tad chunky for daily commutes. Scram 411 is perfect for me with same himalayan engine but seat height at 795mm due to smaller 19" front tyre (himalayan has 21" front tyre). It is also 10+ kg lighter than himalayan. I got the bike from nomadic showroom in pune within 15 days. I got the silver spirit color as i loved it more than others. The white and red one is also very eye catching.
    Riding experience:
Have been using scram 411 for over 6 months now and i am very happy. I had meteor 350 but felt it to be bit heavier especially due to lower center of gravity and wanted a scrambler/adventure bike. Scram 411 is perfect for me for daily commute as well as highway and off-road trips. I recently completed spiti circuit on scram 411 and it performed exceptionally well. The seat height at 790mm and weight 180 kgs is very much suitable for me. I am 5'6" weighing 70kgs. The bike has same himalayan 411cc engine and though the gear box is bit clunky, you get used to it. People buying re bikes need to keep aside some of refined features other bike companies offer as re is a cult and at 60kmph the bike just becomes a part of your body. The bike is extremely stable on road even on rainy and off-road patches. The handling and maneuvering is very good.
    Looks & performance:
Looks are very good and the colors are very appealing. The bike looks like a scrambler/adventure crossover. If you load the bike with accessories like top rack, fog lamps, crash guard with sliders, saddle/pannier stays then the bike looks even impressive and catches your attention. Many people on road have asked and enquired about my bike.
    Servicing & maintenance:
I am still in free service period. So far servicing and maintenance has been hassle free.
    Pros:
    1. Shorter than himalayan so makes it better for short riders.
    2. Lighter than himalayan so makes it easier to maneuver and good for city commute.
    3. The head lamp turns with the handle unlike himalayan
    Cons:
    1. Not as off-road friendly as himalayan. Does off-roading but not as efficiently due to himalayan's 21" front wheel
    2. Gear box feels clunky. Some times gear shifting is not as smooth as you can expect. (i am sure re will address this on its 450cc engine coming soon with himalayan 450)
    3. Braking is bit iffy sometimes and rear brakes screech a bit when bike is new (this is reported by all customers) but the noise does fade away as you put on miles.

  • Most underrated Bike in Indian market

    Srikant Rout

One of the most underrated 400cx Bikes in the Indian market. Utilitarian bike at its best. Be it daily commutes, highway rides, or off-road. Best comfort, great performance, great handling, great mileage, nice sounding and good looking, well-engineered machine.
Cons: throws mud onto your face if ridden on wet roads.
The engine makes mechanical noise. Not refined like the new j series engines. Though it doesn't vibrate much.

  • This beast never disappoint me for a single time.

    Ayush Negi

Honestly, I am enjoying this beast. I use it for my daily commute to college. Performs fabulous. Only issue I faced that the company do not provide tubeless tyres for this masterpiece. I face tyre puncture issues 2 times, otherwise, this bike is a gem by RE. I have done a long ride of approx 800 km and this bike never disappoints me for a single time. And I do a random weekend ride of 4-500 kms twice a month, and I am falling in love with this machine.

Make sure you lube your bike's chain every weekend if you ride daily . It will give you a fabulous riding experience. And if you don't ride it daily, lube the chain after every 100 kms. And give a quick checkup by yourself every weekend like, chain lube, clutch adjust ment, chain slack, tyre pressure, and etc. And if you repaire your puncture from a local mechanic, please give a quick check to the rare wheel allinement, by matching the dot on axcel . • RE In My views

    Shridhar

Buying Experience is according to your retailers. Somewhere there are polite people somewhere good people you may face. But in my case, it was quite satisfying. I received my choice color bike within 1 week.
About Riding experience, Himalayan is the only adventure bike that middle-class people can afford. But in the case of scram 411 they have made a few changes and the bike becomes king for multiple purposes used in one bike. It's a perfect scramble. It is worth for money bike. I had only one issue with the handle which was born by Village roads (ride continuously 70km with no break) and not completely resolved by RE service centre. Timely the issue is resolved.
I had completed 3 servicing (costs 5k) so the completed 15k kilometers. During this, I rode the bike to the mountains, to the villages, to the highways, to the beaches, to the Rocky roads like a complete experience. But never feel like the bike is incomplete. Look wise bike has a unique silver colour which people surrounding me like and compliment every day.
Cons: only the thing is when you ride on highways it is good up to 110kmph, but in my view id like to chase at more speed like 120-140kmph. Bike mileage is not upto Himalayan but the overall experience is better than himalayan. I'm writing this because there is no other bike to compare with it.

  • Worth it.

    Vinay

  • Unleashing Adventurous Beast: The Scram 411 Bike Experience - Style, Performance, and More!!

  • Worth it.

    Vinay

The first time I laid eyes on the bike while picking it up, I felt a bit overwhelmed by its size and weight. Riding such a massive bike in Bangalore seemed like it could be quite inconvenient. However, the Scram amazed me with its ease of handling; it wasn't exactly beginner-friendly, but still surprisingly manageable. As I rode back home, I started getting acquainted with the motorcycle, and I found myself adjusting to it quite well. I'd have liked a tubeless option.

  • The Easy Hog on The the Road.

I am planning to buy one this year and would like to do a northeast ride. Further, with some mods on the bike, it could drive pretty decent power for highway rides. As I am planning to do solo I guess this much of a power drive would be more than enough. And the reliability of the Brand.

  • If not Himalayan then Scram 411

    Nishant Kulkarni

This is so good for city rides and off-roading too, if your height is small and you want a bike like Himalayan then you must go and buy this bike. I've been using this bike as my primary bike, and it's awesome. You can make some changes to the bike and then it will give out the best performance. I hope you like my review.

  • Unleashing Adventurous Beast: The Scram 411 Bike Experience - Style, Performance, and More!!

For any querry, feel free to message me on whats app - 8580923439.

Keep maintaining this ride as well as following company rules while riding. Like, keep the start engine for 1 min. at day's first ignition. And many little things to follow.
