I really like to ride this beast machine. It’s like dream come true. Re is offering such a machine at such price range. Really appreciable. This bike not only is used for day to day ride but we even can use it for touring, racing but with all protective gear. Whatever the quality of roads may be this beast will not bother. Thanks to it’s suspension. It’s breaking efficiency is like, in any speed this beast remain in your control thanks to abs. My dream bike. My love. One day i must bye this machine. Thanks re for this beast.

Buying it is easy with less waiting time and better people in hand to deal with because it's re (royal enfield).Riding experience is above average and has a lot of merits over demerits, although it is best for a single person ride. You might think that the looks are just okyish in photographs but when you get it in hand and watch it over naked eyes, it looks just as fabulous a machine it could be. Performance with respect to Indian conditions is the best. As its the flagship machine of re, they keenly look into all the issues and to be frank are a bit partial to interceptor customers. Maintenance is easy but costly if you get hit.Pros:Awesome power delivery (for its engine capacity)Great torque till 3rd gear Amazing speed on 5th gear Acceleration is ironically huge. The least price for this engine capacity Good maneuverability Better stability Less vibration on bumps Good tyres Nice riding feel Cons:Limited info console. Worst pillion comfort No use of an inclined silencer. The seating position is hard for >400kms ride. Very bad comfort for the rider. Some minor issues in the design of built-in vehicle auxiliaries Poor headlamp. No full gear pedal Huge weight Vibrations felt hugely on hands (can't ride more than 200kms without leather gloves).

Buying yourself a birthday gift is always a gratifying experience. If it is a re interceptor 650 then the celebrations start the moment you book it and continue thereafter. A chance reference at the wonderful bike which has captured the imagination of bikers not only in India but across the globe, made me drive upto the re-showroom at ambala on a Sunday afternoon. I learned that the showroom was closed but espied the chrome mk ii standing imposing across the glass, glistening in the surreal muted lights of the showroom. It caught the rays of the setting sun and reflected them back at me. Almost winking or enticing me to dare to dream again...
A dare is no stranger to an army man so I picked up the gauntlet and booked it at the earliest, hoping to get it before my 53rd birthday. Thanks to the online csd process and helpful staff I was able to get it just in time to rekindle the joys of riding again.

Interceptor is an amazing motorbike. I have been owning this bike for 6 months and these are the pros and cons 1- it is the most reliable bike from enfield 2- touring, no problem. Offroad, you should have the skill and definitely need a muscle because it is 202 kg wet. Not that much perfect for bumper traffic. But if you have the guts. You can pull it out 3- false neutrals are common. But sometime it disappears.4- it is well comfort for the rider and the pillion5- have a good range about 300 km and 24-26 mileage is pakka 6- ride quality is the best. Even haters will love the way the bike react.

It has amazing power, looks good, feels manly, comfortable to ride. I wanted to take the next big step in life after getting a job, so I recently bought my interceptor, and it is the first bike I own. I love its power, its high acceleration is quite useful, especially in the city and in traffic. The sound and feeling of riding it is amazing and make you feel manly af haha. Moreover, the number of things you can change is also nice, though some re-showrooms may not be ready to do it ( i was able to install original bar end mirrors through a different re-service center after the showroom refused to install it). I will update this review soon after i have ridden my interceptor a little more.

  • Relaxed Twins will let you sail in triple digits with ease.

    1. The buying experience has been smooth.
    2. Best bike with a very smooth engine, the bike stays relaxed till 130 KMPH.
    3. Retro Classic Modern look blends very well with the bike.
    4. Maintenance cost is on the higher side due to break shoe price.
    5. Pros: The relaxed parallel twin engine does not scream like singles. The nimble, agile.
Cons: I did not find any. The foot peg position was annoying in traffic gotten used to the springy action now.

I booked a test ride and re invited me for a 20km long test ride at a locality on the outskirts of bangalore. I rode the interceptor. Oh my god! it was such an amazing experience. You wont even feel that you are hitting 100. Its so smooth. The engine is refined, power delivery is linear. It will give you the power when you exactly need it.The brakes are very good and provides ample confidence. Best royal enfield ever.

  • Amazing Machine in Budget.

    Abhishek Kumar

Interceptor is an amazing machine made by Royal Enfield. Buying experience was great. Got the bike in a week from GT karnal, Royal Enfield. Bike is refined and no vibrations because of twin cylinders. With aftermarket exhaust it roars. Servicing is not expensive too and maintenance is not on a higher side as you need to get your bike serviced in a year or 10000 kms. Average is around 20-30 kms per litre according to your riding style. Bike is just a bit heavier when pulling or pushing the bike but in this price this thing does not count as you are getting amazing power, refinement, great service from RE, low maintenance machine.

I never had a plan of buying REs due to long waiting period. Suddenly I see a new showroom near my home and WHAM! baby's home in a week. Wanted to bring the sunset strip home, but the mark 2's magnetic attraction couldn't stop me. Riding the Mark 2 is riding a royal steed amongst mules. The stance, exhaust note, and glamour makes me feel like a Prince on Pegasus. The royal thump makes people look at me with respect. The parked bike attracts a lot of shutterbugs! The service experience is smooth, comfortable and courteous. Not speaking much about maintenance, you got get wet when you swim. Pros: Looks, stance, thump, and most importantly the respect it commands. Cons: Got get habituated with fuel costs and a little back pain.

    Prakhyat Nayak

You wont even feel that you are hitting 100. Its so smooth. The engine is refined, power delivery is linear. 2 years ago
