I had a honda unicorn for my daily office commute and occasional weekend outings. I have sold it, took 1.75 lakhs loan and also spent a good amount of my savings to buy this royal enfield interceptor. Now i am literally crying every day for selling my reliable honda bike for this bulk of metal. The fit and finish is very poor. Paint quality if also very bad. Engine vibration makes you go numb in groin region and it may have impact on your health. Mileage is very poor (less than 10km!!! even cars give better mileage)Handling is twitchy. Causes wrist and back pain if ridden for more than 40 mins. Brakes are sudden and sometimes make the bike skid.My advice... Buy any small bike. If you want bid bikes, never go for royal enfield.

Simply amazing bike with superb performance. Price is less compared to engine performance. Too comfortable for long touring and for daily use. Its a vibration free bike. I also owned re classic 500 chrome since last 4 years but interceptor gives me all together different experience. While driving on road you always feel cherish and proud to have it when compared with other toy bikes.

Got this bike after 3 months of waiting. And worth the wait!! Incredible experience. I use it daily, for 1300 kms a month, and never had a trouble. Riding experience is top class, overtaking has never been so easy/effortless. Proper looks of a retro roadster. Guys with a KTM taste buds will be foolish to buy this. Quality of the parts is top notch, you can check all over and won't find any cheap finish. Since this is a Global product, RE has left no stone unturned. Servicing is 2.5K per service, with 1.8K for Engine oil(uses 3.5L to keep itself cool). Gives me about 25 km/l(Range 22/29 in city/highway). Zero vibration, clean acceleration, a king on the road, great handling. Yet to find anything negative.

I booked a test ride and re invited me for a 20km long test ride at a locality on the outskirts of bangalore. I rode the interceptor. Oh my god! it was such an amazing experience. You wont even feel that you are hitting 100. Its so smooth. The engine is refined, power delivery is linear. It will give you the power when you exactly need it.The brakes are very good and provides ample confidence. Best royal enfield ever.

I bought interceptor 650 from munjani motors, surat. Though i had to wait for more than 6 months to get my hand on this bike but my overall experience with munjani motors was great. Now coming to the bike, though this bike is from royal enfield but believe me it's nothing like royal enfield and probably its the best bike manufactured by royal enfield to date. This bike has got road presence, torque and power to keep you hooked up to the machine.Cons - engine does heat up a little-bit but with 650 cc engine this is expected.Foot pegs are awkwardly placed and creates problem while pushing the bike in traffic condition.

Good powerful bike with great macho look. Replica of triumph street twin, but smooth and nimble. Gear changes is frequent as you can travel 40km/h in 3rd gear Cons- mileage 20km in city, heavy 210 kg with fuel. Stock ceat tyre's are tube type ( not tubeless like earlier firelli) so alloy wheel upgrade is more expensive. Seat is very narrow. You need 25000 rupees more to make it a better' bike.

And if we talk about its looks then it looks something that yeah something is coming. Look bigger than vulcan and harley. It looks 650cc bike. Enfield always have a low maintenance as I am riding it since i am in 12th standard means 2006. I don't think that anyone has any need to change anything in it. Yeah but you can like its handle and add some accessories while on tour. I love it.
