I bought this bike after awaiting for 2 months, initially I thought it is heavy and difficult to handle but after 1 hour drive I was like ohh god.. it was heaven. I did not check mileage, and coming to the engine it produces so much of heat. waring shoes are must while driving long. I really love this.

Got INT 650 in my circle. Beautiful sound just like the Triumph or Ducati with AEWs. Took it to Jaiselmer in May on a 600+ Km ride in a day, easy to cruise at 120-130 kmph all day long. No heating issue or anything of such sort. You may get tired though.
    Pros.
    Looks simple though.
    Good tank range.
    Enough of spares/accessories available.
    Reliable engine and chassis
    No rusting issues.
    Cons.
Too heavy, impractical for city uses.
    The front looks like Meteor.
Poor sales Service centre. Better find a decent RE mechanic.
    Uncomfortable seating.
    Break bite not adequate.
Front break fluid pump keeps failing.

Avoid riding on bad roads. Change OEM CEAT tyres, those are slippery not so reliable. Use Motul or Liqui Moly with recommended grade. Bar riser or taller handle bars can reduce a lot of stress.

    1. The buying experience has been smooth.
    2. Best bike with a very smooth engine, the bike stays relaxed till 130 KMPH.
    3. Retro Classic Modern look blends very well with the bike.
    4. Maintenance cost is on the higher side due to break shoe price.
    5. Pros: The relaxed parallel twin engine does not scream like singles. The nimble, agile.
Cons: I did not find any. The foot peg position was annoying in traffic gotten used to the springy action now.

  • Quality issue

Worst quality. chassis broke within 6 months.
service center guys refuse to replace the chassis as it has a saddle. how come a touring bike can go for rides without a saddle?
And the company doesn’t have that.
    Next comes the battery issues.
The battery is not getting charged.
Replaced with a new one and the very next day it was dead again.
    Hats off to RE service
They even don’t know what the problem is.

Excellent Experience during riding, feel King when on the road. Value for Money and Royal Enfield's name is enough. Nothing to say. My age is 70 years and it's not possible to ride anymore. The service cost is very low, the style is excellent, it/s a genuine superbike for the younger generation. The bike is an eye-catcher and the rider is noticed wherever you take it. I still love it but because of my age, I have sold it. But bear in mind, it's not a 'distress sale.

  • 2 merits to buy and 2 demerits to think for buying or not

    Ravi

I got a chance to ride this bike for 200-300 km. I have covered a distance of approx. 250km from rajkot to ahmedabad. Then I have also ridden the bike on rough roads and kachha road.
    ->riding experience:
if I talk about the riding experience, I was very confident to ride 650cc bike after riding this. It offers to good control over the bike. The control system is awesome. It covers the acceleration of 0-80 km in just 5-6 sec max. The pickup of this bike is amazing and the braking system is awesome. The is not much vibration in the bike. The engine is very refined. The exhaust sound is quite amazing.
    Mileage:
I have also tested the mileage of the interceptor650, it gives the max mileage of about 28kmpl at highway and 24-26 kmpl in the city.
    Service:
As there is no cover for the chain, regular cleaning is required.
    Cons:
    1. The seat is quite narrow, so it is not very comfortable for long rides.
    2. The rear footrest is a little bit higher than the rider's footrest, so for taller people, it is uncomfortable to sit.

    1. Dealers were good enough to clear every query we had and also finance was of attractive interest.
    2. Excellent for long rides, as a city commuter it does well. Except for the long-time seating.
    3. Retro look just attracted me and the performance is great there is no way to worry about speeding.
    4. In the segment of 600+cc interceptor has quite affordable maintenance. General servicing is for 5k kms after the first service which will cost around 2.5k ₹
    5. Pros: great tourer, attractive looks, easily understandable instrument cluster.
Cons: seat is not good for long rides, and weight will be a burden when moving the vehicle.

Clean the chain after each ride and regularly during rainy and apply lubricant.

  • Built like a gun built for man!

It has amazing power, looks good, feels manly, comfortable to ride. I wanted to take the next big step in life after getting a job, so I recently bought my interceptor, and it is the first bike I own. I love its power, its high acceleration is quite useful, especially in the city and in traffic. The sound and feeling of riding it is amazing and make you feel manly af haha. Moreover, the number of things you can change is also nice, though some re-showrooms may not be ready to do it ( i was able to install original bar end mirrors through a different re-service center after the showroom refused to install it). I will update this review soon after i have ridden my interceptor a little more.

Clean the chain after each ride and regularly during rainy and apply lubricant.

  • 2 merits to buy and 2 demerits to think for buying or not

    Ravi

I got a chance to ride this bike for 200-300 km. I have covered a distance of approx. 250km from rajkot to ahmedabad. Then I have also ridden the bike on rough roads and kachha road.
    ->riding experience:
if I talk about the riding experience, I was very confident to ride 650cc bike after riding this.
