A good bike from worst Company Royal Enfield
4 years ago
Vaisakh Sreyas
it took 2 weeks after booking , i got the bike delivered . little hard machine it seems. but riding time it will so smooth.. around 44 degree temperature you will get ambient temperature around leg area and thigh. as clutch and brake little hard , you may feel little hand pain during daily commuting. service : i am giving 0 rating for royal Enfield. they are posting mad people in service centre. they don't even know how to change parts in good manner.. really pathetic service by royal Enfield.. i done 1st service from HALLMARK royal Enfield. I am not suggesting that waste team.. later 1st service i have given local service and they only done good service.

Tips for other riders
try to find a local Enfield expert . otherwise royal Enfield team will spoil your bike . do free service on authorized showroom.. but check they perfectly done or not from near by local workshops. its good for bike health. after 4 free service, don't give to royal Enfield authorize team.. upto 500 km keep going with 3000 rpm and 60kmph after 500 km -1000km around 4000 rpm and you take 80 kmph if you need.

Himalayan - no proper road required
Aayush Jain
The buying experience was the worst. I had ordered the bike in jan'17 and end up getting the bike in nov'17. Probably that is because of the bs4 update. Anyways the bike overall is good but lot of maintenance is required. Can go off road easily due to the high clearance level. Have reached 130km/h with some efforts but there's no vibration felt. Smooth ride though the mileage is a put off. It give a mileage of about 25kmpl. Looks are ok not that great but its a heavy bike. Servicing is again the worst part. The people at re service centers are not honest. If in case you do decide to buy this bike make sure you are there when they are servicing your bike or they will just do some rough work and pass on the huge bill to you.Heats up pretty fast so not a good idea to roam around in it at high temperatures.Engine could have been better, lacks abs probably the newer version has it. Riding posture is amazing. I do a daily commute of about 110 km everyday ( both ways ) but never experienced any kind of strain on my back even in long rides ( 500km & above).Overall its an okay bike not something must have. However some duplicate parts are available so can't get it serviced any where but only in specific places.I am overall satisfied ( not pleasantly though) with the bike although be ready to shell out about 2500rs every two months on servicing. All in all there are better options available. And more thing..A test drive for about 50 km is a must before you go for this bike.

I bought the bike on march 19th 2021 and I loved the bike very much but issues started after first service that is after 500 km. The will not start after we turn it off for some reason. It will not start once it’s turned off. It’s a brand new bike and showing this kind of problems and also it will stall in the middle of the heavy traffic. Today, I almost crashed because the bike turned off when I was riding on 70 km/h with pulled throttle. The bike slipped because the rear tyre got locked as the bike turned off. I have visited the showroom several times but problem still continues.

Firstly....I had an idea to buy a touring or adventure bike.... .Firmly i had test drive many bikes including the bmw gs10. But i don't had find a comfort in those bikes especially the riding position that's i had in himalayan . So i liked the riding comfort so much in himalayan... .But there is some negatives...Doesn't have an led projected head lambs and indicator.. But had a tail lamb.... Abs is good.... But... My himalayan is a bs4..Bike so it doesn't have a switch abs.... I had a massive trip in off-road... Seats are so soft and cushioned....

Awesome Tourer Himalayan Bike BS6 Bike With An average of 45Kmpl
4 years ago
Naveen
Guys If you want 45Kmpl with average in highways ride Between 60kmph - 80kmph with 1/4th of throttle in Highway , In City I am getting a mileage of 35KMPL With peak traffic with applying 1/4 throttle in Bangalore . Really I am very much happy with riding long rides as well as in city , I am 6.1ft height and 90kgs . Crisp Throttle response , exhaust sound is just awesome . Don't go above 80kmph till your bike runs 2000kms . If you are ok with the heavy weight and hardcore real offroader with allrounder WITH Linear Power go for himalayan save your money aganist ADV 390 DUKE Rs1.50L or if you are only tourer go for ADV 390 DUKE with Extreme power and its not pure offroader.overall pros only in my point of View and no cons. If you need my experience do as I reviewed and experience real thrill with the bike .

Full of issues

Muhammed Wafi
I bought the bike on march 19th 2021 and I loved the bike very much but issues started after first service that is after 500 km. The will not start after we turn it off for some reason. It will not start once it’s turned off. It’s a brand new bike and showing this kind of problems and also it will stall in the middle of the heavy traffic. Today, I almost crashed because the bike turned off when I was riding on 70 km/h with pulled throttle. The bike slipped because the rear tyre got locked as the bike turned off. I have visited the showroom several times but problem still continues.

Hunter of all roads..

Great bike....Good stability..Best for long road trips....Easy spare parts.....Little costly maintenance but worth it. The bike is all worth the cost. I had a great biking experience to delhi, Look wise it can be better on the front but it is the best what it has.
