Best entry level tourer Absolutely and undoub

1 month ago by Dipyaman Choudhury814 views

RE Himalayan is best for touring. U take it to the highway or off-road and u will get mind-blowing experience. Even if you drive it 300km a day, your body will not feel the toll of the journey. Sitting position is extremely comfortable for both of driver and pillion. Another thing if u install luggage carrying boxes it will not cause any problem to the pillion. In fact the back luggage box can be used as a rest by the pillion. RE could have given LED headlight and indicators instead of bulbs. NB this is NOT A RACING BIKE NOT AT ALL. So speedsters don't go for it.

Tips for Royal Enfield Himalayan

Lube it after every 500km, wash it after every tour, change oil after every 5000km

I have purchased this bike in Covid time, and my purchasing experience was pretty good but i have to wait to around 2 months as some parts were imported from china and the imports were banned at that time. But the wait made it more special. And then the day arrived after almost 2 months, the dealer called me and told me that my bike is ready, the time I saw my bike I could not look anywhere else but my my brand new bike. I has always my dream to get Himalayan and that day my dream came true. Post lockdown was the first time I took my bike for an actual ride before that I have several small ride but Himalayan was not made for 200 or 300 km's ride, so I made a plan and this time it was 4000 km ride and it was a hell lot of fun. I rode my Himalayan in heat in rain and even in snow for a while. It performed like an royal Enfield. It looks pretty simple but it is eye catchy at the same point. Its off road capability is similar to highways (both are fun and easy). I got it serviced 2 times one major and on minor and it was very smooth and they charged me very minimal price.

The one and only downside I have noticed is that if you cant handle the weight, then city commutes are going to be a bit on the difficult side. It is a wonderful package.

The buying experience was great even though i had to wait because of the pandemic. It came after a little waiting. till now I have clocked more than 2500+ km's. The bike has little quality issues with it. the riding experience is nice for long and short but caution for the heating issue at the time of traffic especially in a hot weather .Pillion comfort is good. The main issue noticed was there was noise coming from different parts of the bike after a rough dirty ride. I'm thankful for the showroom they have great service and client management . Pros: Comfortable ride go anywhere, bike Much refined than the previous version Cons: Heavy bike Some quality issues, Heating.

It is nice bike and whenever you ride or wherever you ride comfort level is awesome. It's braking system is very good even on mountain slippery road. Also sound and look wise Himalayan is always a eye capturing beauty. People love to see this bike with nice height. It's weight is massive as I have to carry that bike to side once as due to pressure on bike tire, it's tire get jammed once and whole bike stand in the middle of traffic. Thank god that people are there to help me out because in such case you can't tow the bike to one side by yourself.
