The Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 has received considerable amount of praise in recent years. But with the introduction of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, the rumour mill about a possible Himalayan 650 also began to churn.

Now, according to our sources, the Himalayan 650 is indeed in the works but will only make its debut by 2024. And it is likely to get a new name and two variants- one with spoke wheels and another with alloys. However, unlike the Himalayan 411, Royal Enfield is expected to promote the 650 versions as road-focused and a mild off-roader.

Moreover, the motorcycle is also likely to get a 19-inch wheel instead of the current 21-inchers as well as a higher seat height. In terms of features, it is likely to get a TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity. It is also expected to feature traction control and ride modes as standard.

Royal Enfield is looking to introduce the Himalayan 650 in the last quarter of 2024 with a price tag of around Rs 4 lakh.
