Enfields are at most time criticised on the brake segment.•this new model has disk brakes on both front and back. That's a huge difference from the old models, and provides a huge confidence to the rider.• better fuel economy. The classic 350 returns about avg 40 kilometres per litre. For a 350 cc motorcycle that's an impressive figure.• vibration. Yes, royal enfield's vibrates. But this can be completely solved. If you change the stock silencer, it'll reduce vibration to a great extent. Also changing the handlebar to a much more heavy one will all together solve the issue. If maintained and serviced properly, your enfield will not vibrate. I can assure you that.• riding comfort in re is the most impressive feature. You can go long distance without discomfort. It has an upright posture. It is a great competition to other motorcycles in the touring segment.

Nothing more than just swag.

I bought this bike recently and got delivered by showroom within a week. Before this i have owned hero honda cbz and then honda aviator scooter. This bike was chosen over ktm duke 250 and honda cbr 250r 2018 because of my younger brother's pressure who was in full love with swag that he would flaunt. On second day i with my brother and some friends went to a ride (considering puja of vehicle also) and i personally rode around 300 kms that day and we touched 498 km on 2nd day. Bike was full of vibration which made my fingers numb and many a times i stopped to stretch my body and fingers. Somewhat between 60 to 80 kph vibration was minimal not vibration free. But above 90 kph full bike started vibrating. Okay, leave it as it's a cruise bike. Braking was good but could have been better by implementing abs. After first 500 km ride it was given for first servicing. After that also vibration didn't reduce (this is the biggest problem of this bike), rest is okay. After that we again went for a ride to netarhat, mcluskieganj, dalma hills, palamu national park from ranchi on different days, it was enjoyable but due to this vibration i suffered. Braking was okay everywhere since it's a new bike. Mileage was between 35 to 40 kmpl. This bike is certainly not a performance bike. Expecting this would be ridiculous. Buy and ride it for swag and that thump, nothing more. Better bikes are there in market. Even a 200cc bike would perform better than this.My views are very personal and based on my riding experience.

Using tubeless tyres would be in safer side but you can go with stock tyres also. Don't change silencer just after showroom, ride for sometime and then change it. Install a switch to switch-off your AHO as it heavily affects battery (verify it from Amp meter).

Buying experience is ok. They have given within 2 months. If you ride on 60 km/hr is good. After that bike is really bad.Look of this bike is awesome single seat is incredible. Services from re is very very poor also service guys.. Proc: mileage is depend on your speed. Good look. Comfort. Less vibration compared to bs3 re vehicles.Cons: tube tyres. Engine sound is too high. Battery is bad. Heating issue. We cant hear the thumb sound we can only hear the engine noise.

Please don't buy this bike

Please don't buy this bike .This time royal enfield really disappointed me. This bike comes with lots of problem in its rare disc brake. If you r planning to buy this bike for touring leh laddakh or any hill station where you can get any type of little bit off-road so please don't buy this bike or any royal enfield 350 cc bike with rear disc brake. I don't know why company not tested this bike rear disc brakes for bad roads before launching . Lots of problem in its rear disc brake .There are lots of chances to brake fail too if you riding it in off road. And you can't get a spare parts of its disc break too.My own gunmetal grey have brake problem after 500 kms only . And i haven't get a spare nut bolt from any authorised royal enfield showrooms . And they tell me that company haven't manufacturing yet. Now after 500 kms of ride my bike is still standing in garage for 15 days by not getting it's spare .Royal enfield company are just hurry in launching their bikes without any road test and availability of spare parts.I think royal enfield have launch dis bike for city it is not for touring . I think they have launch a gunmetal scooty .So please if you wanna bike for long tours to hill stations or any place where there is little offroading so don't go with this gunmetal grey . Its brake problem can also chances of take your life too . Instead of going with gunmetal you have also a choices of others 350 classic without rear disc. But if you want bike for only riding in city then you can buy it .

My royal beast

Tips for other riders
Using tubeless tyres would be in safer side but you can go with stock tyres also. Don't change silencer just after showroom, ride for sometime and then change it. Install a switch to switch-off your AHO as it heavily affects battery (verify it from Amp meter).

If you don't bother about money. Go with gun metal grey
