  • Bike for the man not boys.

    Charlie

The craze for the motorcycle was there since my childhood and so when i entered my college life the classic 350 was the only bike that was on my mind and i was able to get my hands on a beautiful stealth black color scheme of the bike, which for me was like a candy to a kid. The bike has a great road presence and the engine is more refined in the latest bs6 version with the new alloy wheels which enhances the look of the bike to another level.
At highways and long tour you can easily cruise with it although it tends to vibrate a lot at the speed of 100+ but that is one of the main factor of the bike, it is not build for those people who are speed thrillers, rather it is for those people who had just got a day off from his work or a group of friends who have made up a plan to go on a calm long ride to the mountains just enjoying the cool breeze and the moment, and it has enough torque to get you out of the off-road patch if you happen to find it during your calm long ride.
And speaking of the servicing and maintenance, it is pretty reliable and you don't have to worry about burning a big hole in your pocket.
Speaking of it's down sight, there ain't much rather then the vibration and all but I've noticed from many other classic owners that after 2 to 3 years it tends to create a problem on the carburetor where the oil leaks from it and it drastically reduces the overall performance of the bike.
But other then that it's a great bike, where if you own one you're no longer a boy, you're a man.

Regular Stuff Like Maintaining Tyre Pressure, Keeping A Good Quantity Of Petrol(Preferably Getting A Full Tank When It Touches Reserve), Oiling The Chain After Every 500 Kms With Good Quality Chain Lube/Cleaner, Oiling And Greasing Movable Parts Like Clutch, Rear Brake, Side And Main Stand, Checking For Any Loose Nuts And Bolts And Regularly Adjusting Rear Brake Before It Gets Too Loose. A Royal Enfield Machine Demands Personal Attention And If You Give That It Will Rarely Disappoint You. Good Luck With Your Bullet

  • Points you have to know about classic 350

    Mayank

Classic 350 is a bike which suits almost every one in look wise. But how it is in riding i will tell you.

1_ it is lack in features like it only have speedometer and amp meter but it don't have even fuel meter which is basic very basic if you want a cruise bike of royal en field so you can go to thunder bird which have new features.

2_it vibrate a-lot when you reach above 80 or 85 it vibrate too much you can't fell your hand on handle and it lose your all mood. And you can't see anything in rear view mirrors.

3_it make pooping sound which is good for someone and bad for someone.

4_its mileage is better than other cruse bikes and it is tough also than other cruses b/c it made of metal .

5_you can modify the bike easily without changing it s look .

6_it is very comfortable in sitting for rider and pillion.

7_one thing like about this bike when i ride in heavy traffic i can ride easily in 1st gear but in other bike you have to ride in 1st and 2nd.

8_it is a brand that everyone trust on. It have a brand like royal en field .

9_it had lot of power in it is heavy also it have 187 kg of weight.

10_service wise it is good and the maintenance is low er than other cruses .

11_it not have abs and not have disc on rear wheel and also it come in tube tyres not in tube less.

So that's it .It is some points you have to know before buying.

I am using it since 2015 for daily commute. Very good stability the bike has got itself. Performance is good but in the top end, it vibes a lot. Service is very good and maintenance is a little more than normal bikes. Cons are it does not have tubeless tyres... So i rate it 4 stars...but all except this is great.

Worst experience from day one ,complained about oil leaking from engine ,its is 9000km since now same issue repeating ,keep good service mechanics in stores as increasing the sales you are neglecting service of bike. Lost the meter reading bulbs in less than a week ,keep 2laks for bike don't you provide better lighting systems.

  • Not a comfortable bike

    Rohit A

Before writing this i would say that everyone has there own driving experience.

Its been almost 2 year and would like to highlights some below points:

    1. Not comfortable for rider and pillion

    2. Too much vibration

    3. Loose control after 70km

    4. Heavy maintenance.

If anyone still like royal enfield and comfortable ride then electra model which has better handle bar position and seat.

Again this is my opinion. Drive well before buying it

  • The conspicuous royal enfield classic 350

    Monorom Bora

Greetings. I am monorom bora from guwahati, assam, an engineer by profession and a humanist by nature. The word conspicuous i have used because once the thumping machine crosses, it always gets a notice. Even i was one of' em??. Getting to the point, a review of first 1000 km with my classic 350 black.

    1. Buying experience was hassle free within 2 days i got my bike delivered. After all the paper work and lightning speed insurance call, finally i got to kick start. Needless to say, you will feel like a greek god sitting on his singhasan.

    2. Initially i faced tremendous neck pain as i am 6 ft tall , it was quite a struggle to ride. On my frenz suggestion , i got a bobber v handle installed and since then i am again on my feel like god feeling.??

As suggested in almost all the posts, run in period is the time where you are moulding ur machine to your requirement. First 500 kms within i took a single long ride of 246 kms and the speedo was sharply within 60 km mark. Sharply. To my utter surprise, from reserve to reserve( as 350 dnt hv a fuel gauge) i got a mileage of 39.3 Kmpl to be very precise. My happiness was in the pink. So i would suggest u all keep it under 60 for first 500. Now i have crossed 1500 mark within 20 days, getting a mileage of 41 on highways and 36 in city which met or i would say crossed my expectation. Always remember one thing, enfield needs your attention and care unlike fill shut and forget types. And this bike is so beautiful you ll feel bad to keep it unnoticed.

    3. Looks need no introduction. The retro look is just awsome. In terms of performance, i would like to say that stock spokes are very comfortable when in terms of off roading experience. At the sweetest point is 80 kmph where you ll feel zero vibration and your rear view mirror will give the best view and bs4 silencer the best thump. And stability is superb. U ll never notice any air throw when even a heavy vehicle crosses by your side.( In my experience)

    4. Service and maintenance. Your manual book is the ultimate guide. Get a thorough read. Briefly i ll mention some points

    1. If u want a tubeless one, u need alloys which will not affect your performance at all. I haven't done though till now.

2.Its very important to clean and lube your chain in every 500 km. Chain lubes are available at approx inr 200 for 150gm. There are many videos in you tube for reference.

    3. Wash your bike whenever u want (i feel like everyday) ????but don't left it in wet condition. Clean with a micro fibre cloth. Enfield looks the best while shining ??.

    4. Get it serviced periodically as recommended. Do not let a roadside mechanic to even touch your asset.I ll never for few lesser bucks.

Always remember: treat your enfield like your wife. The line itself says it all. If u don't have time to take care of this machine, i would say go for other option. You ll never get the response in return. It is mandatory to keep you enfield in perfect condition. After every long ride, check for nuts and bolts. Tighten if required. Chain status. Cleanliness. Brake oil. Drum brake can adjust easily as per your comfort.

Cons i would like to add: i tend to have have bum ache after 80 kms at a stress till now.

Stock handle may not be suitable for tall guys.

Tube tyres may be a nightmare in long ride god forbidden if got punctured in a no mans land. So alloy is the answer to a tension free ride.

You ll get n number of people finding flaws in enfield. Treat them like an appendix in human body????

take care of your enfield and it ll never disappoint you.

Hope this amateurish post may help you all to get an insight.

    Regards

a royal enfield die hard fan and a proud owner.

  • Best road companion

    Imran Khan

I opted for black, majestic look which i dreamt for years to finally own it. I was excited to take the delivery despite having mild fever. Every time i ride, it gives me happiness. I take good care so it can perform very well. Its never a race but for pure riding pleasure. Servicing in authorised showroom is highly recommended. Wear helmet while riding. Pros - low maintenance, customisation options, wide service network, looks, comfort for rider, long lasting parts, no plastic, thumping sound, good resale value.

Cons - vibrations at high speed, gear shift sound, mild irksome front disc sound, on road cost increasing almost monthly, less electronic gauges, no fuel indicator yet!

  • Beast royal enfield classic 350

    Ranjit

I was being passionate of buying my own beast and for that, the well known beast is #royalenfield#classic#350 that i owned

It gives you a awesome ride and a royal look to yourself, yeah this beast is also comfy and nice to ride. Yep this one is heavy to .However maintaining this bike or any of the other bikes is depending on your passion on it and this needs a certain extra watch on it. But by servicing it could be a superb one . This one is a bit heavy so on the ride feels you a great look pickup wise is good for this beast, long rides are mostly loved and suited for this. However this one #royalenfield#classic#350 is made for luxurious ride and maintaining it will give a nice and comfy ride....!!

    Subhasis

I am using it since 2015 for daily commute. Very good stability the bike has got itself. Performance is good but in the top end, it vibes a lot. Service is very good and maintenance is a little more than normal bikes. Cons are it does not have tubeless tyres... So i rate it 4 stars...but all except this is great.

Sharply. • Worth buying than a 400

    Subhasis

Run in period (first 500 kms) at 60 kmph for good mileage. Chain cleaning and lubing in every 500 kms for longetivity. Cleaning and metal area polish . I use aerosol. Ignore people finding flaws in enfield and comparing with a sports bike love you enfield
