About Series S
OLA Series S is expected to launch in India in August 2021 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,00,000 to ₹ 1,05,000. Another bike similar to Series S is Hero Electric AE-29 which is launching in October 2021 in India.
The Series S is Ola’s first electric scooter. This scooter is based on Etergo’s AppScooter but gets revised styling. The performance and other specs are yet to be revealed but we are expecting it to be similar to that of AppScooter’s.
This Ola EV is likely to be available in multiple variants. These variants will have different battery and riding range options. The company claims that this scooter will be priced competitively. So there’s a chance that it would undercut its rivals like the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube and the Ather 450X.
The Ola e-scooter is likely to feature a best-in-class boot space (capable of carrying two helmets), a best-in-class riding range and app-based keyless access. We also expect it to get navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
This scooter will be available in multiple colour options. The bookings for it have already begun, but the launch and delivery dates are yet to be revealed.
