Worst product with pathetic service

Bought Ola S1X 4kw; experienced 5-6 breakdowns within a year, replaced MCU, BMS, sensors. No response from service centers; took months to replace parts. During rainy season, they recommend not driving the vehicle. The worst part is that the repaired vehicle at Nashik service center was used for personal use. When asked for telematics data, the service center denied providing it. Wrote emails to the central service team but received no response. Don't buy any Ola vehicle; you will waste your hard-earned money.

Just grabbed the Ola E-Scooter and I’m honestly impressed! Smooth ride, stylish design, and eco-friendly vibes. Charging is super easy, and the mileage is perfect for daily city runs. Feels like the future of travel on two wheels – affordable, silent, and green. Ola has nailed it! Highly recommend for anyone looking to switch to electric!

Best value for money, zero Maintainance

Best Scooter ever, Best instant Torque on sports mode, I'm addicted to sports mode. I got this for 1lakh and 4 thousand rupees. Paid 1000rs extra for the Ladies' foot rest, which is a waste now since I bought a full crash guard set with a built-in foot rest on both sides. I have lots of space under the seat and also in front. Since it's Gen 2, it doesn't have a belt or chain, so zero maintenance. I had to visit the showroom twice in 10k kms due to the front suspension cone loosening and brake sensor bug in the rainy season. I spent only Rs.176 at the Ola showroom for a total of 10k km. Value for money. Loved it. No range drop after 10k kms, getting 100+ km per charge even after using occasional sports mode and with two riders.

OLA S1 X 4kWh: Going the Extra Mile
Yedu Krishnan
I was on the lookout for a scooter to replace my ageing Pulsar for quite a while now. EVs were my main consideration at the time due to the affordability, relatively less maintenance and little to no fuel bills, My Pulsar had been regularly giving me breakdowns and repair costs and mileage was getting worse by the day, so an EV seemed the best option since the Pulsar was nearing the 15 year mark, However range anxiety was an issue and with my daily commute reaching close to 100 km, most electric scooters wouldn't get the job done. The ones that could were very expensive or could barely manage this figure in real-world use. It was during this time that the S1 X 4 KWh was launched, with a real-world range of over 150 km on a single charge and an affordable price of Rs.99,999 ex-showroom, this was perhaps the best scooter for my needs, it had the range, space, practicality with 34 litre underseat storage and best of all came with a physical key and hardly any gimmicks, touchscreen or software, many of which were the sole reasons for issues in other scooters. So I instantly booked one, and the wait began.I had already test ridden the S1 X+ by then to get a feel of the scooter and its ride, and came out impressed with the ride, handling, speed, power and performance. The 6kW motor was more than adequate, and the top speed of 90 km/h meant that the scooter could keep up with other vehicles even on the highway. The build, although not the best, was acceptable for the price. Then, finally, after 10 days of waiting, the scooter arrived, and to my pleasant surprise, mine was among the first scooters delivered in my district. Ola hosted a delivery party for us, and it was all smiles.Moving on to the scooter itself, I bought the Funk colour with Black at the Front and Green at the rear, the range is more than satisfactory with Eco mode getting me 167 km as displayed on the scooter, in Normal, the range is around 134 km, however, on average,e I am easily able to get over 150 km on a full charge by riding sedately even in Sport Mode, The scooter has speeds limited to 42 km/h in Eco, Mode 70 km/h in Normal Mode and top speed is 90 km/h achievable in Sport Mode. Acceleration is brisk and overtaking on the highway is a breeze in Normal and Sport mode. The space on the floorboard and the 34 litre of underseat storage are of great help as you can carry a lot of stuff on the scooter, making it perfect for trips to the grocery store. I have ridden quite a lot on the scooter and there has been absolutely zero issues to date, Ola doesn't have a specific maintenance schedule for its Gen 1 and Gen 2 scooters but despite the same, they provide maintenance services as and when required or if anything goes wrong. I have received 8 years/80,000 km battery warranty on purchase and it provides me with assurance on the most critical and expensive part of the scooter.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the scooter, especially considering the sheer value for money it provides. No other company provides such an electric scooter with the perfect balance of range and price, Ola has surely gone the extra mile for its customers with the S1 X 4kWh

Reviews for the Ola S1 in India are mixed, with many users praising its modern design, good performance, and competitive price, but also criticizing issues like inconsistent range, occasional customer service problems, and concerns about build quality in certain situations; some users report a smooth city riding experience, while others mention difficulties on inclines or in hot weather depending on the battery level.

Don't purchase ola E-scooter
Gavisiddappa
On Dec. 25th 2023, I purchased an Ola electric scooter (olas1x+). Successful This scooter completed one year by attending three times to the service centre, one time to Koppal and two times to Gadag. Regarding motor problem issues. Today also face the same issue. Again I want to visit the service centre Gadag. This service centre is 65km from my native. When I purchased this scooter I did not get any benefit from this. It is a bad thing to purchase according to my experience. Don't buy. I won't decide to sell this scooter, because I get so many headaches or suffer from problems or issues. In one year three times, I visited to service centre. Three times I paid transfer vehicle charges 1800rs (1800×3). Even though today (25/12/2025) again I got the same issue. There is no good in buying an E-scooter according to my experience and knowledge.

Performance is good, servicing time takes a lot of time to resolve. Thought of changing another old petrol vehicle to Ola, but the prices are changing day by day. Now the price went high compared to November. So left the idea to buy another.Pors, Riding performance/style. Pocket-friendly and good to use in cities.Cons, Service appointment, and timelines, Not sure about battery life and replacement charge required in the future.

Performance, The Battery range is okay but the service main issue. The service center cannot reply to your request and they don't come to you at a perfect time whenever you face the problem. You have much more time than you expect for a service. After the service, you cannot be satisfied they are problem solution skill.

Never buy an Ola scooter
Jayveerr Shah
Never buy an Ola scooter, they don't give after-service, do not give proper answers for any issues, only want to earn money by selling scooters, not interested in customer service, once u buy they behave like unable to solve your scooter issues. Also, customer care has not given you a proper answer, they take money for RSA, and not give service for that also not refund money.
