OLA Gig-plus Summary
OLA Gig+ is an electric scooter available in only 1 variant. OLA Gig+ generates 1.5 W power from its motor. OLA Gig+ comes up with both front and rear drum brakes.
The Ola Gig Plus is a commercial electric scooter meant for B2B delivery and ride sharing purposes. Although the company has announced the prices of the scooter, deliveries will commence from April 2025.
The Gig Plus is supposed to be a robust workhorse and incorporates removable batteries. It can be used with two 1.5kWh batteries which concertedly deliver a claimed range of around 157km. This battery powers a 1.5kW motor which can attain a top speed of 45kmph. Considering the average running cost of an ICE scooter, the Gig is touted to be 93.4 per cent more frugal in terms of daily running cost.
The Gig Plus looks slightly more attractive than its more affordable version with additional body cladding up front sporting more vibrant colours. As for the hardware, it rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends with telescopic forks and dual springs. Braking is handled by drums at both ends.
