Reviews of Okinawa Ridge

Don't buy okinawa scooters unless they give you warranty on batteries for 2 or more years.Otherwise you will felt cheated like me. I bought okinawa ridge model scooter in june 2018. Seller and website promise 90 km per charge and top speed 60 kmph .I thought if not 90 km per charge even 60 km is fair enough for me. I was happy that i can save on fuel and refueling mess is gone. But i was surprised to see that it gives only 42-45 km per charge.I also found out that the speed and distance meter are also faulty they always give higher readings .Higher readings always misguide you that your scooter run more per charge and with high speed. I was shocked to see that the error is close to 30%(both in speed and distance) .I inform the seller about same he told me as charge and discharge cycle of battery increase its performance will improve.In end of june 2019 my scooter start giving 10 km per charge and to my bad luck this poor performance only starts after 15 days of expire of battery warranty.Seller says i have to buy new set of batteries of worth rs 17000. I mailed my problem to head office they did not have courtesy to even reply me .To make my scooter run again i have to invest rs 17000 which bring the cost to rs 79000...This is the worst decision of my life.If i calculate i saved only rs 6000 on fuel. I know that the market of e vehicle in India is still grooming but i suggest to middle class families ,don't buy it,its a huge dent on pocket.

You spend 2 days in service of every month. Low ground clearance , i am spend more then 3 to 4 days in service because sometime crack brake drum ,wire fault,charger problem,brake wire problem,horn switch problem

The on-road price for this vehicle is close to rs 50,000 and should be a good choice for anyone who travels around 50 kms a day. Pick up and driving comfort is satisfactory but with low charge, the performance will be of a concern, especially if you have some load or using a flyover. The mileage is around 60 km and it is 20-30 km less than what is being claimed in the company advertisement. Of course, the looks are good, but the battery at times indicate wrong readings and is not stable, which can cause worries. It would have been good had they put an option in its display that shows how many kms it has run after latest charge and how many kms are left before the battery drains completely. The absence of lithium-ion battery means you have to put your vehicle in charging mode for 8-9 hours. This can make you feel unhappy at times. I will recommend this vehicle only for those who travel less, say 50 km on a daily basis and who does not want to spend much on petrol. The vehicle can save some valuable money of you since electricity costs are fairly lesser than petrol. The noise free ride and anti theft alarm are two of its cool features.Coming to the title, if you want to live a environment-friendly life and ready to give up some of the comforts in a petrol vehicle, okinawa ridge may not disappoint you, though i personally feel the mileage should have been better.

Never ever buy any of the scooters from okinawa. They have the poorest after-sales services in the world. I think they even do bother about after sales services. I bought it a year back. But almost for 6 months, i am not able to drive it due to various issues related to servicing of my e scooter. Do not buy any scooter from okinawa or you will regret.

The scooty is good in all field but it is not for rough rides but in looks and perfomance it is very good and im enjoying it though it is not good fot tough roads but then to it vrery durable im using it for more then 3 months and i went to service only for once so if you want to buy electric scooter then its a good choice

I use this scooter for my daily basis and i ride it 20 to 25 kms a day. it takes about 8 to 9 hours to get fully charged but it doesn't matter. it runs on 2 modes which are eco and sport mode , mostly i use eco mode. that's all. thanks Okinawa scooters For making such a good product keep making such products and whenever i buy a new scooter if my priorities are for e bikes in future I'll choose Okinawa only....

Scooty looks awesome. Its pick-up and top speed is very good. Only 21 rupees i can ride 100 km. Its amazing.I am so happy with this scooty. My family is also happy. This scooty i use daily. No problem found.Headlights performance in night below average. But riding posture for rider so comfortable.

Very bad experience with this bike Light same like lighter Shocker both very bad working It's leaking also Body material very bad every were cracking I have been company service center First time they take 70 rupees And i told them my back shocker not working because of that my bumper broken They tighten but problem same as before Second service time also same problem i told them same tighten but problem remains Third time service i have not done because some reason When i been for forth service they have taken 200 laps charge for third service which i have not done Now i have paid 200 laps charge and 150 for forth service But my shocker problem remain I have asked for sail my bike to service center They told we can't buy because your bumper broken At final moment i have bought this bike 6 month ago with around 50000.

I am living in a remote village with less road connectivity but i am happy riding this in such road conditions it will be better with lithium ion batteries. Speed is ok mileage i am getting 60/ charge in this type of roads but in city it will increase i think.Main advantage is eco friendly and cost effective.
