Oben Rorr Summary
Oben Rorr is an electric street bike available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. Oben Rorr generates 4 W power from its motor. With both front and rear disc brakes, Oben Rorr comes up with combined braking system of both wheels.
Oben Rorr is an entry-level electric motorcycle from a small company. It was launched to take on the nascent electric motorcycle segment.
In the styling front, the Rorr gets a round headlight, sleek LED turn indicators, a large instrument cluster, split-style seats, a two-piece pillion grabrail, and five-spoke alloy wheels. This EV boasts a top speed of 100 kmph and delivers an IDC certified range of 200km per charge through its fixed battery pack. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a belt-drive system.
The hardware on the Rorr comprises telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup includes single discs on both wheels, while the safety net includes a combined braking system.
In terms of competition, the Rorr competes with the Revolt RV series in India.

The buying experience is not so good. They promised 5000rs cash back and have not yet received yet after 2 follow-ups.Riding Experience - 3 times got sucked on the road because complete battery was completely drained out. Riding it on City mode, where it was showing 60km range. Suddenly stopped working while riding in Bangalore traffic. I had to tow to home 3 times, and it's very panicked situation on the road. No roadside assistance available, and you won't get a support number. We have to connect the showroom salesperson and the question is how can they help!!. After 9 pm, if you call those guys will not answer as well!.Bike is getting serviced regularly and I purchased on offer time which was saying 3 years warranty on battery and other parts, 3 services free, etc, but reality is they charged service charge on 2nd service (I can provide service bill). They don't have any record of their sold vehicle and service history.Very poor service after the sale. The old version doesn't have a reverse option and you can not park in a sloped area(No brake lock). The vehicle is heavy and it's very hard to pull. Paints and stickers are very cheap quality and I would say it's not worth of the money. Tips: To increase belt durability, recommended to water wash regularly. The battery needs to be charged every day. If you don't charge it more than 3-4 day then don't take it outside without charging. you will get stuck. It shows 80% charge remaining but after riding few km's it will stop on the road. Conclusion: Not recommended to buy. Yet to evolve, need to improve a lot on quality. Latest releases have fixed some of the issues but battery, motor, and controller technology remain old.

Bike belt broken in running after 4 months purchase.

My bike belt is broken in running. I purchased a bike in April 25 and now it's only 4 months and the belt is broken. I'm hugely disappointed. And the service center and customer care do not support for the bike. Very very poor experience. Please don't buy this bike until you are completely aware of the lack of this bike.

I am experiencing an issue with my electric bike.1. It is indeed not well-suited for the season of rainfall.2. If rainwater reaches the interior of the meter board, it will automatically switch the riding mode.3. At the same time, I was mad about the 3 accidents4. This is not the first time I have encountered this issue. Previously, I experienced a similar problem, and the service team replaced the meter board. However, I am still experiencing difficulties related to this issue.5. This bicycle has proven to be inadequate for use during the rainy season, significantly affecting my experience with the vehicle. I would appreciate it if you could process a refund, as I suspect this issue stems from a technical manufacturing fault.

Broken Belt Issue Not Resolved – No Support from Service Centre or ASM

I purchased just two months ago. The belt has broken unexpectedly, and despite repeated attempts, I have not received any support or resolution.,I visited your authorized service centre, but unfortunately, they have not been helpful in resolving the issue. Additionally, your Area Sales Manager (ASM) for Ohla has not been responding to my calls, despite several follow-ups over the last five days.

This bike is ok. But in this price range, they should have added some features like reverse mode and an integrated map. Unfortunately, the range that the company claims is too less in the real world. And I think the quality of switches should be improved because if the bike falls, the start switch comes out (breaks) easily.

City mode is best

RORR is good bike for bangalore roads, where you find many humps and pothholdes. For a 3.4kV battery, I get 110 km range in economic mode, whereas in city mode gives 90 km, and in sports mode, it is 70km. City mode is best on the Bangalore roads. Sport mode is too fast. We have to be a race rider to ride in sport mode. The cost of the bike is 1.15 lak when purchased on 5 jan 2025. The style is good, and the bike handling is also good.Minor disadvantages of RORR to upgrade1. U-turn, it should be long2. The battery charger should have a plug fitting so that it does not shake while riding.3. The connector to the bike should always be fixed, so that I don't need to connect each time. (next version)4. The bike is too heavy to lift; it requires 2 people to lift it.5. Backing up on this bike is not available. It's a must when we are on the downside of the road.Hope this review helps people to decide. RORR rocks

this bike has a very nice look and good quality and riding is like a luxury and feels like a luxury. This bike is better than other electric scooters and bikes because this bike riding range is very high and capacity battery is very useful and nighttime riding is comfortable.

It is a very good EV bike for riding in the city and it gives up to 175 km in one charge and it is value for money. It takes 0 to 40 km per hr in 3 to 4 seconds. It is a very useful EV bike and it is very good in all other EV bikes and scooters. It has also anti-theft protection and it also has battery theft protection.

It's just the best in design and comfort

It is so awesome and value for money and range well. It is designed like the future generation has everyone like the bike with its design look and range of the bike I am happy with the Indian bike experience but I am requesting the Oben Rorr company to collide fast charging in the petrol bunks for the future generation for the first charging.

I parked my Oben Rorr with a 40 km range at night, but in the morning, the range was down to just 6 km. The battery drain overnight is a big issue. Also, the rear brake should ideally be on the foot side—it's inconvenient if you're used to riding regular bikes. Overall, though, the bike is superb. If your daily ride is 100km, then this bike is definitely made for you.

My bike broke down at night on highway..

When I was returning home after dropping my sister at her hostel, my bike suddenly stopped on the highway despite having a 30 km range left and I had to tow it home. The next day I found out my rear shock absorber boult and 2 other chassis bolts were broken without any impact. Just one week later my tail broke down too. (I don't off-road my bike)
