The upcoming Norton V4 superbike, successor to the V4 SV, has been spotted testing again in the UK, clearly wearing TVS-backed updates. Visually, it adopts a sharper design with sleek LED headlights, revamped mirrors, and a bold tail lamp comprising three horizontal LEDs. A prominent new feature is the underbelly exhaust under the engine, lending the bike a cleaner profile and improved mass centralisation. The engine is expected to remain the 1,200cc, 72-degree V4, but likely reworked for compliance with modern emission norms and possibly enhanced performance.
The spy shots also reveal a tech-heavy package: twin-spar aluminium frame, Ohlins suspension, Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers, and an electronics suite featuring a six-axis IMU, multiple riding modes, traction control, and cornering ABS. The V4 is slated to debut at EICMA and is expected to lead Norton’s India entry later that year, along with five other new models under development.
