It was an interesting week for the Indian two-wheeler industry as we witnessed a bunch of new launches. However, the main highlight was the confirmation of a delay in the BMW F 450 GS launch, a highly anticipated offering. In case you aren’t up to date with these developments, here’s a quick round-up.

Harley-Davidson X440 T Launch
Harley-Davidson has launched the X440 T in India, priced at Rs. 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It gets a bunch of updates over the X440, such as a redesigned sub-frame and tail section. Feature-wise, the bike gets ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, and switchable rear ABS. This has also enabled the motorcycle with two ride modes: Road and Rain. Moreover, it also gets a segment-first panic braking alert, which triggers all indicators to blink in case of emergency braking.

TVS Apache RTX Special Edition Launch
TVS Apache RTX 300 joined the brand’s 20th Anniversary celebrations with a new special-edition livery. The centrepiece of this edition is the black and champagne gold colour scheme. The body panels get a black base overlaid with gold graphics that trace the lines of the fuel tank, side panels, and fairing. The added red highlights further reinforce its sporty intent as well. Pricing is yet to be announced and the motorcycle remains mechanically identical to the standard model.

TVS Ronin Agonda Launch
TVS also launched the Ronin Agonda at MotoSoul 5.0 as the latest addition in the modern-retro portfolio with a price tag of Rs. 1,30,990 ex-showroom. The name and visual direction are drawn from Agonda Beach in Goa, one of the state’s quieter, more laid-back stretches of coastline. The paint scheme sports a white-led base with retro five-stripe graphics. The stripes run across the bodywork in clean lines, giving the motorcycle an airy look rather than a heavy, cluttered one.

Bajaj Pulsar N160 New Variant Launch
Bajaj Auto launched a new variant of its sporty commuter, the Pulsar N160, in India. The motorcycle gets upside-down front forks and a single-piece seat, as against telescopic forks and a split seat of the base variant. This new variant is priced at Rs. 1.24 Lakh, ex-showroom, placing it in the middle of the price-based hierarchy of variants. The inclusion of USD forks should not only deliver improved handling and stability, but also aid comfort with better shock absorption and composure over an undulated riding surface.

BMW F 450 GS Launch Delayed
While we were expecting BMW to launch its highly-awaited F 450 GS at the upcoming India Bike Week 2025, there seems to be a change in plan. We have learnt that the German brand will not be a part of the annual motorcycling carnival, which indicates that the official launch may have been pushed ahead. What our dealer sources have confirmed is that the deliveries of the bike will commence towards the end of February 2026, and the official launch might take place a few weeks before that.
